External Sound Card (2)
I saw a thread about this..but its over a year old so I figured I'd just start another. Anyways, I'm thinking of purchasinga Soundblaster Live 24-bit External USB soundcard. The onboard card in my laptop (Realtek HD) just isn't working with my music program Sonar and is causing some problems that I need fixed.
I've read good things about the soundblaster card and its affordable (50 bucks). But does anyone have any other suggestions? Not looking for anything too expensive really but just wanted to know if anyone had ideas of what else is otu there. THanks Jam it back in, in the dark.

It's good enough. I had a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS notebook external card, and it worked fine. I think the only common problem found with some Sound Blaster products is that (for some) driver updates have "downgraded" the product (or breaking it instead of improving). To be really picky, read reviews because the last time I checked up on that was several months ago.
X-Fi is the card that makes 2 ZS card QQ more. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
