Has anyone here seen
Henry Fool:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0122529/ ... and "sequel"
Fay Grim:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0444628/
I just watched Hartley's sequel and I must say the "mood" was very different than
Henry Fool but it was still completely self-contained, tight directing, acting, and writing. I don't really know what to say about these films without writing at least 10,000 words or more, so I thought I'd just throw them out there. Warning: you MUST see HF before FG, or you will not have a clue in heck what is going on. In fact, in light of HF I feel that FG is the most amazing "continuation" of a story I've ever heard of, let alone witnessed. Like the Orbitz gum lady says, "Brilliant!"
Jam it back in, in the dark.
