Somewhat No Network Engineering I hate dealing with customers over the phone when I know I can't just head out to the location and fix the problem in person. No. I work tech support for an ISP. I love the troubleshooting aspect, because I'm a problem solver and love to tinker. However, since pretty much all of my workload is talking to customers over the phone, I do not enjoy it as much as it puts me in a tough spot for actually fixing complex problems. I would love (and am trying to push myself into) a networking job, either as an engineer or an administrator. Systems administration wouldn't be bad either, but I specialize in networks. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
