It symbolises that Sylar is probably not dead and its as persistent as a roach, along with the whole God thing thanks to Mohinder's speech. C'mon, Sylar yearns to be special, and who's more special than a God?

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I'm a bit late, but very good way to end an episode. After it said "end of chapter one" I was like "wtf, what a wack ending", but then the beginning of chapter two which is beyond promising. Definitely looking forward to season #2

I just started watching this series, i'm up to episode 5 woo! I'm surprised I actually like it, as this kind of thing isn't usually something I enjoy.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I'm more interested in the person who can see the girl if she tries to find him. Its a bit far fetched but what are the chances that guy came out of nowhere and dragged Sylers body into the sewer as a setup for season 2.
Sylers eyes flashed all the victims he took and his own death so I'm guessing maybe he'll stay dead for season 2.
I was actually kinda hoping some secret paintings of Issac would have been discovered by the way he was talking when he was talking to Syler a while back.

Overall I enjoyed it. I was hoping for a bigger battle scene though. Oh, and I didn't really think that keeping Scylar alive was necessary. Just let the man die.

Someone in production for Heroes [I'm not sure if it was the director, producer, or whoever, but still] has said that they've grown to like Sylar so much that he's likely going to be a regular in season 2. Would be cool, but I'm not sure how they'll pull it off. Will Sylar become a 'good guy'?

Well, that was an obvious way to make things more interesting. I always assumed that Sylar wasn't the worst guy. Obviously, he's still alive, but now we know that there's someone who's even worse.

Just finished watching the series. I'm surprised how much I like it, as it's not usually the kind of thing I would enjoy. But I thought it was awesome.

Please some one tell me though why the Haitan shot Mr. Bennett at the end of that eppy, and didn't only just erase his mind. Also, what was the point of that scene if he just remembered about it afterward and found Claire again

I think it was a setup to make it look as though the Haitian had turned against Noah and the company, and kidnapped Claire. I don't recall Noah remembering what happened, only that he was relieved when he and Claire reunited at the end of the season.

There seems to be more heroes than villains, so Sylar might come back but maybe not as the "main" villain this time. The Linderman died, so his network may be out of the picture, or perhaps Claire's grandmother will take over. What I would like to see are a few "superbattles" next season - we had extremely few this season. To do that, they need more villains. I could see why they would keep Sylar around.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Bah, I would rather not. I think one of the reasons I liked the series so much is that it didn't go too much down the route of 'typical superhero save the world, lightning out of fingers etc'

Bah, papparazz BS. WAY to piss off Jack Coleman there... If Coleman decides to imitate his character in real life, you know better than to anger him. :P

Also the Heroes comic is still going on, and it looks like we just learned more about Candice...

Spoiler:
Most of us were right, she WAS fat. In fact, she was a fat goth/alternative/punk girl with bad acne. And her original name was Betty.

It also means that maybe she can still retain the illusion when she's unconscious, or maybe she wasn't fully knocked out, or maybe she got so used to the disguise its just attached to her no matter what happens.

Sorry, who was Candice?

Heroes is coming onto UK non-sky television tomorrow, looking forward to watching it through again. My sister keeps asking if it is like LOST, because apparently she heard it is, but better. I said, it's kinda like LOST, but... Simpler.

When LOST started, it was amazing.

Candice is the girl who causes illusions and can shape shift. She pretended to be Nikki in front of Micah for a while.

Beware spoilers in above link.

Just thought I'd revive the thread with a little trailer for season two:

http://www.youtube.com/v/5aSzp5fUZrs
(someone please teach me how to embed this)

Dunno if it has been posted before, but whatever. This primetime trailer can also be found on the NBC website, but since not all of us live in the US, I thought I'd post one from youtube instead.

Not much is revealed, but it answers a big question that's been on most people's lips since the grand finale of season one:

"Is Sylar alive?"

The answer is:

Spoiler:
Yup, it sure seems like it. From the looks of it, he'll have an encounter with Candice, too.

The first episode of season two is due to air september 24th.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Also,

Spoiler:

It looks like peter is alive too. He was standing in the subway(?) car at the end of the clip.

Unless that was just a behind the scenes from the previous season and I just don't remember that scene.

Sylar's continued existence isn't that big of a secret. Tim Kring, following the conclusion of Season One, openly admitted that Sylar was originally supposed to die but turned out to be way to popular. Kring said that we should expect Sylar to return and with even more tricks (implying that he's stolen new powers).

Of course, Molly Walker made reference to a dark presence that could find her if she even thought about it, so that's likely to become the new villain this season.

Sure, we all knew he was coming back, but this is actual footage proving it. Besides, not everyone has been following the news around Heroes since the end of season one (I know I haven't). Just thought I'd share what I found.

Rather than "the" new villain, there's always the possibility of him/her/it only being "a" new villain, meaning there might be multiple main villains this time around.

Somehow, I just got the feeling that the "dark presence" isn't human. Dunno, it's just a hunch.

Don't worry, the heroes aren't exactly all on the same side. They can still fight each other AND the villains. That would be more cool.
