Re: Jazz's theory
Spoiler:
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Just a prediction on my part, but it seems that maybve we're headed for an attempted coup of the American government and thats what Parmer has knowledge of. Also...I think the Red Chinese may show up again, looking for Jack.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |

I can't wait for tonight's epsiode. Jazz's theory reall could go either way, I think, and while his has legitimate points, Morrigan makes legitimate counter-points. We'll just have to watch and find out what message was so important as to risk your life to deliver it.

HOLY CRAAAAAAAAAAAPPPP! This show....best...ever.... Jam it back in, in the dark. [ MOBIUS ] |
Ugh, talk about jumping the shark.
This latest twist just made most of the season not make any sense. Why would Walt then hide himself from the president? Why would he (right before Jack interrogated him in the office) reveal his mission to the president when they were both "patriots" to begin with. And where does the president get the time to have all these secret personal calls with Henderson/whoever else. This is pretty silly. And if the Asian assistant knew about the President being in on it, why wouldn't she have confirmed with Mrs. Logan? Ugh, this involves a lot of ret-conning going on in the earlier episodes this season. Season 1 stuff:
If it was Mike Novick, it would have made a lot more sense and still have been a twist (as I guess the writers were making the vice president out to be the bad guy). There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Holy Shit, no one saw that coming.
Spoiler:
oh yeah, it's unfortunate but it looks like we won't get to see sexual harassment lady in action. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
I think you have to be patient and dont assume things about the show, clearly you are wrong most of the time anyway. 99% of the time..it will be explained...and you will think "oh wow, that does make sense".
I figured it wouldnt be the vice president...since Jack was leaning towards that and the woman wouldnt give the info. It also makes what Henderson said a few episodes ago make sense onto why he was protecting what he knew. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Small example, Behrooz being rescued in Season 4 was dropped out, instead only becoming a deleted scene. Big mystery: No one ever knows what Jack said to Nina in Season 2 when she was being led away. Other question: When did the terrorists call the Asian assistant about her daughter? Recently, or all day? She was certainly calm up until this episode. I'm just annoyed that essentially they're writing the season as it goes along and not considering when their plot twists contradict earlier scenes. I was speaking idiomatically. |
I agree with you Jazz. This really doesn't make that much sense. They're gonna have to do a lot of explaining to make this make sense.
And on another note, does anyone else think that Logan would be too stupid to be a part of any kind of secret plot/conspiracy? That's the first thing I thought when they revealed him. What I thought:

DId anybody see this guy? I think it's kind of silly for people to make a small little cameo on this and actually expect to get noticed. I didn't notice John McCain when he was on a while back, and I certainly didn't notice this guy.
But if anyone did notice this guy, who did he play? I just want to know since it says he had a speaking role. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |

I'm interested to find out how this plays out, but if it doesn't make perfect sense, I'm going to be pissed. I was speaking idiomatically. |
HOLY SHIT! That was a pretty big twist at the end! But, I don't really understand where they're going with this. Is he behind it all? Is his plot to get rid of Palmer's supporters? I'm expecting some serious ass kicking from Aaron now.
Also, man, I feel so sorry for Buchanan, you clearly see that he felt betrayed. Oh and Miles is a dick, I hate that guy, damn him for the blackmail! Good for Audrey turning him down, but I hate how she was given the dilemma of either backing up Buchanan or Jack (even though it was obvious she would support Jack's new lead). As for Evelyn, I was surprised she didn't die, though she didn't come away clean so I guess that some what made it up. Where was the wound anyway? I couldn't make it out, looked like the leg. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
I don't care if the whole gimmicky ending thing is being done over and over each episode, it still *works*. I'm so off on all my attempts to call whats going to happen next. I'm honestly surprised at each turn.
I pretty much thought it wasn't going to the be the VP after they gave him up a bit too easily during the course of the episode. Also, during one of the split-screen intros the VP was on his cell phone while Henderson was shown keeping watch for Evelyn (and not on his phone). Wouldn't make sense if the VP wasn't talking to Henderson at such a critical juncture. Jazz brought up some points about Evelyn not consulting with the First Lady. Why would she consult with the First Lady? She obviously didn't want anyone to know about her daughter for her safety and telling the First Lady (with all her documented mental problems) she'd probably go right into the President's face with it, which would probably kill off the daughter. I also agree that it was quite possible that Walt didn't know of the President's involvement. He was just taking orders from Henderson. Henderson was willing to let his wife be shot to hide the President's involvement, if it was something that Walt didn't need to know, Henderson wouldn't have told him. FELIPE NO |

I think it's also important to remember that we have yet to see the entire "plot" as a whole. Also, pretty much everyone involved in this plot has at most a link to one other person involved in this scheme and so there is still alot of unknowns about motivations, etc. My guess is that it's just impossible at this point to come to any conclusion at the moment.
Jam it back in, in the dark. |
