What DS games have had their music 'properly' ripped?
By 'properly', I don't mean the sequenced music extracted via VGMtrans and turned into mp3s, or a loose collection of mp3s of about half the music...I mean full, proper direct recordings of as much music as can be recorded, properly tagged and all.
I'm aware of rips for the following: Contra IV Elite Beat Agents Deep Labyrinth Lunar Knights (although there's something odd off about this rip, and I think a rerecording attempt might be in order) Mario Kart DS Mario and Luigi 2 Mega Man Battle Network 5 Mega Man Star Force Mega Man ZX Mega Man ZX Advent Nanostray New Super Mario Bros Ouendan Super Princess Peach Yoshi's Island DS Wario Ware Touched I believe I've also sighted rips of Kirby: Canvas Curse and.....I have one of Trace Memory here, but I have no idea if it's complete. The following DS games have an official soundtrack release that covers the full known music of the game: Ace Attorney: Apollo Justice Arkanoid DS Appare! Shogi Jiisan A.S.H. -Archaic Sealed Heat- Atelier Lise ~Alchemist of O'ldor Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin Children of Mana Deltora Quest Dokidoki Majo Shinpan! Etrian Odyssey Final Fantasy III Final Fantasy IV Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Rings of Fate Final Fantasy Tactics A2 Heroes of Mana Hoshigami Remix Kabu Trader Shun Kenshuui Tendo Dokuta LostMagic Luminous Arc Luminous Arc 2 Mario Hoops 3 on 3 Mega Man Star Force 1&2 Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Rune Factory Sonic Rush Sonic Rush Adventure Subarashiki Kono Sekai (It's A Wonderful World) Tales of Innocence Tales of the Tempest Watashi no Happy Manner Book Any album based on a game not on the above list is either an incomplete collection of the music or an album I have no extensive data on (like the one for Feel The Magic/Rub Rabbits). So....am I missing any? I'd really appreciate any sightings of complete rips or albums not listed here, especially if they can be confirmed. Thanks! How ya doing, buddy?

I did a line-in rip of Meteos. I only grabbed the non-planetary music tracks though. The planetary music is comprised of many short audio clips that interactively work together while playing, so it's a difficult thing to touch.

Sekaiju no MeiQ/Etrian Oddysey's soundtrack seems to be complete from what I can tell, although I never quite finished the game so I'm not completely sure. But I seriously doubt that the game has more than 1 hour of music, that's already a really huge amount.
And Kaleb, I don't think I ever said this before so, that Meteos rip rocks! I love the music in that game (even the in-game stuff but yeah, impossible to rip). This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
I have a Canvas Curse rip on my harddrive with 45 tracks...I assume it's complete.
