Post Your Favorite Car
I don't think I ever remade this thread after gamingforce got reset last time. Feel free to post more than one! If you're anything like me, you like looking at pictures of cars. Last time I did this, I posted a Firebird as my favorite car, and people were like 'WTF, your name is DeLorean'. Well, DeLorean designed the early Firebird. So there.
And Also... And my modern favorite... The BMW M5 Jam it back in, in the dark. |
I love right side drive Mini Coopers. My roommate from college has one and one of my best friends just got one.
There's nowhere I can't reach.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
I was speaking idiomatically. |
I'm all about the deceased makes.
The 1968 AMC AMX, the company's attempt to compete with the Corvette and Mustang. Terrific styling, good performance, only a few thousand made before it was reduced to an options package on the Javelin. The 1951-53 Kaiser Manhattan. Very few people have heard of the make or model, but it's very aesthetically pleasing, super-rare, and innovative. The 1953 Studebaker Commander. Designed by Raymond Loewy, this sleek coupe was decades ahead of its time and hard to find today. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |

Dodge Viper GTS 1996
This car has been a favourite of mine for some time now, no other car comes close. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |

Lada is simply the best
Also, Lada pwning Lamborghini : There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Yeah, they still make them. Don't look all that different either, which is a good thing. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |

For sheer everythingness the Aston Martin DB9:
But if I were to go for something more affordable then the Honda S2000: I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? >: 4 8 15 16 23 42 Long Live Lost LiveJournal: Latest Entry: My Political Leanings. Latest JOURNAL Entry: ITE: I review the latest album by The Guillemots (also, exam results) |

My favorite car ever since the day I laid eyes on one has always been the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28.
It's a little out of my price range but hopefully (fingers crossed) I'll have one around the time I'm balding and need something to make up for or an emotional hole needs filling during my mid-life crisis. Most amazing jew boots |
I see Vipers every frickin' day, so I've kind of lost the dazzle with looking at them. But every now and then, still,I'll be looking at one and just get all red in the face. They are kool cars, but not the best, I think.
And since I like a lot of simple things... FELIPE NO |
That 1953 Studebaker Commander is a good looking car!
I love the Opel GT. I also like the way the new Corvettes look. This is a good example of a stock GT. Here is one with a stock body and better looking wheels. How the headlights operate on my orange GT. They made cars is some pretty awful colors back in the day. I'd have to say that the BMW 3.0 CS which was built from 1968-1975 was a sharp looking car. Additional Spam: Here is a highly modified GT with a 16v 2.0L turbo ecotec engine under the hood. Not a bad color on a GT. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? "In a somewhat related statement. Hugging fat people is soft and comfy. <3" - Jan "Jesus, Gumby. You just...came up with that off the top of your head?" - Alice

A few more oddities near and dear to my heart: The 1936 Cord 812 supercharged coffin-nose speedster. The pinnacle of 30's engineering and art deco styling, with performance that's good even by today's standards. The 1938 Graham-Paige "Spirit of Motion" sedan. Made for only one year, these art-deco beauties look like they're moving even when in park. The Bricklin SV-1, a gull-wing Canadian auto unrelated to the DeLorean and even rarer. Thanks to their body design, they're nigh-impossible to repair and only a handful exist. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
call me a nerd if you want, but I really want one of these...
I love smart cars!! How ya doing, buddy? |
Affordable:
Yaris Turbo! Not Affordable: Subaru WRX STI Ltd. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

<@a_lurker> There, I said it, I'm not taking it back. |
Yeah, going with Ric Ocasek on this one. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
The Mazda Miata is hopfully going to be my 'reward car' to myself when I move out to NYC and get a job good enough to pay for it (From what I've seen, its actually not that bad, price-wise). Granted, I wont actually need it to drive around the city, but I'll need something to get to and from CT.
Because I'm picky, it'll have to be the hard top, and definitely a darker color: Lots of people say its a death-trap as a two-seater, but fuck it, the idea of geting one is one of the few things keeping me going at this point. Worse comes to worse, I'll fall back on what EVERYONE seems to be getting these days: Can you tell I want a convertable? Or a motorcycle... I was speaking idiomatically. |
Yes yes yes! I'd love it in that color pink too What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
I was really hoping no one would post a Mustang, because I knew I wouldn't be able to resist flaming them. Everyone drives a fucking Mustang. It's lost it's value.

I never really got the appeal of the modern Mustangs myself. I don't think they did a good job with the design nor do I like the base models. Speaking of Mustangs, my friend Jamal had a 2004 Mach 1 for a while and I gunned around town in that car a few times... To this day I still remain unimpressed by these cars. :/
I got another car I'd like to add to this list now that I'm still here: I've only seen one of these myself and it was a stunningly beautiful car. God only knows how much it was being sold for and, quite frankly, I think my blood pressure probably doesn't want me to know. 1932 Cadillac Phaeton V16 What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?
