Habanero-tan
Not sure, if this is belongs here but I think it'll probably more suited here than Media Centre.
Anyway, has anyone been reading the Habanero comic strips? Man they're hilarious! Apparently Habanero is a Japanese snack in Japan, and these comic strips are about Habanero-tan (a fan made mascot, like the OS-tans) and her experiences/promotion with/of the snack. Habanero-tan isn't a stand alone phenomenon though, I mean there are infinite numbers of cutesy mascot out there for just about anything floating around 2ch (specifically the 自作絵, original images made by 2chan-ers) from time to times. And some of them seem to catch on. I am looking for pancake-tan right now, but those are hard to find. >.>
Haha,not so Subtle nod to the OS-tans.  This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |

I know this is an old thread but.. I've been looking for this for ages! I was able to read two strips (one was that nee-san strip) before but I have no idea what it is. Thanks for sharing.
