Network PC Racing games
Hi all, hoping someone can answer this one as it seems my local game shops cannot!! Im looking for any car racing games that can be played on a LAN anything between 10 and 30 computers simultaniously. Im a network manager for a school and want to run a LAN games day for the kids.
Ive spent hours searching the web to no avail as the games never seem to mention whether they can be networked and if they can how many computers can be on them...to be honest they dont have to be racing games but I need to ensure that they all meet age restriction requirements ie nothing above 11+ your help is much appreciated........ How ya doing, buddy? |
Flatout 1 and 2 are pretty fun to play. You can lan up to 8 pcs.
Toca Race Driver 2: Also a great racing game. You can lan 12 machines with this game (i tested it with 6). A little more complex than Flatout but still fun. There's nowhere I can't reach. |

Thank you, anyone know of anymore games that might be appropriate for children that are networkable
thanks This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
How can a racing game not be appropiate? Too much crashing?
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Violance on the road (e.g. Carmageddon) luckily games like that are not being developed anymore.
I was speaking idiomatically.

Alternatively, too realistic or too damn difficult would not be fun for most young kids either, Grawl.
That said, Trackmania Sunrise would be absolutely FANTASTIC for this sort of thing. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
It does support a lot of players, but it's too difficult most likely.
FELIPE NO |
The kids in our Lan place seem to love The need for speed games , those that have LAN play of course..
I don't think any NFS game is inappropriate for kids and they seem to like it (between ages 6-16, yep) i dunno how many players, but go for Underground 2 or Most wanted.. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
