Mario Kart Arcade GP 2

http://img103.imagevenue.com/img.php..._122_449lo.jpg

We never even got to see 1 here in the states.

Playable characters seem to be Mario, Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, Donkey Kong, Toad (!!!!), Pac-Man, Mrs. Pac-Man, Clyde, Bowser, and I've no idea who the little blue and white dude is. Probably from another Namco game.

I wonder what the games are like...

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Oh no, that stupid white freak thing with the blue ears is from Namco's Tamagotchi game for DS. ;__;

Oh my.

Well now. That's...just mildly disturbing, isn't it? XD

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I wish we had more of a cult following of video games in the UK. We never see machines like that. Our local bowling alley still has a Prop Cycle though, and I love that game. Took us over a year to take up the dancing stage craze though.

How ya doing, buddy?

Well I tried the first Mario Kart arcade at my local arcade and... well... I don't like it. Doesn't feel like the Mario Kart I used to like. I won't miss anything if this one won't be purchased by the arcade manager.

I was speaking idiomatically.

I've played part 1 here in in the States. I agree with cubed that
it didn't really have that Mario Kart feel, more rather a quick $1
race on a really short track with Weapons that pretty much locked
on to whoever was in front of you (literally).

Let's hope 2 is better!

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Yeah, I played the first one and it was a waste of coins. The camera system was really amusing but the game controlled like ass. I hope they've made some major improvements for the second game.

I've never seen any here in NJ, but I played one while I was vacationing in California.

The game itself is alright. The graphics are good, but alot of it just seemed mashed together for something on this name to be out there... You're limited to items in races, you're racing Pac-Man for God's sake, and the drift system just feels weird to begin with.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

I'm not a huge Mario Kart fan, so the first GP felt like all the others. However, it was rare to see anyone playing it in Osaka. I'm shocked to hear that it was successful enough to deserve a sequel.

Actually I've played the first one at a Chuck E. Cheese here in Canada, and yes, it's wondrous; everything that the GameCube Mario Kart should've been. Great graphics, beautiful and interesting courses, tons of items, and a single kart per character. All the naysayers above me are fucking nuts, don't listen to them. They won't let me into the Chuck E. Cheese on weekends without a child in my presence, though. It's like an inverse nightclub or something. They won't let me in because they want to "protect children from predators". Assholes.

(Maybe it's my haircut...)

Anyways, this is quite exciting, they're making a second one~

I hope I see it somewhere here as well...

edit: oh my you get to play as your own tamagotchi. that's nuts.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

It was decent enough, some of the items were cool, but it was nothing that demanded your coins. F-Zero AX on the other hand was brilliant, it's the only game that I have spent over $20 on.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
