If there's a reason this wasn't supposed to be created, feel free to close, but assuming the last thread was closed exclusively because it got too long, here's version 3.

I'll repost the rules, lest we have forgotten:

Quote:

1. Only one active picture at a time.
2. If nobody can produce an correct answer after 24 hours or after 3 guesses, a hint of some kind must be posted
3. Whoever guesses the pic gets to post the next pic, unless they pass it off.
4. If you're guessing, wait for confirmation that you're right. If you know you have the pic dead to rights, you may post your own stumper right away.
5. No anime before 1990, unless years aired is stated.
6. Some substance to the picture(IE unless it is a symbol in the show or something easily recognized, don't post the leg to a bed or random bits of landscape,unless there is something VERY important about it)
7. NO SPOILER SHOTS!!!!(major spoilers to anime people might not have seen you know, like everybody knows spike dies, but not everybody knows how elfen lied ends)
8. No name only answers, the answers should have some substance to them, tell what you remember them doing in that scene, or that the art style reminds you of such and such. Solo anime titles will be deleted from the thread and right or wrong this person will NOT get the next slot, a la staff

That looks like it could be from Chii's Sweet Home. I only read a bit of the manga though so I'm not too sure.

As much as I watch anime, I'm always amazed how many shows this thread manages to dig that I can't remember seeing.

Some tricky hint to author or studio might be nice.

Oh I remember that. Kyouran Kazoku Nikki, the part where she insulted the building for being too grand. The sweatdrop's a dead giveaway.

I wanted to like that one, but ughhhhhhhh it just, felt like it was trying to channel Excel Sagas random in all the wrong ways. I think I only made it a few episodes in before I gave up.

This would be from Gintama. In the first screen Kagura is on the beach and it's the start of the turtle-thingy arc. I don't recognice the scene in second pic, but it looks like Hijikata on the left.
