the server I picked is pretty new so there isn't much going on as far as Raids. I think the server opened on 1/1/06...and only 1 guild from each side has done MC halfway through...

I joined a guild and basically power leveled my way past them...I am 40...and the rest are about 20-25. Its ashame because guild grouping/raiding is always alot more fun then people you dont know. At this rate though, we will never make end game content before the summer though.

So far I think they are just implementing weather effects....and priest talent change.

Weather would be nice...if it gave a bonus/decrease when fighting something. If not, its just for show. IE) Frost spells do more damage when it snows or Fire not as effective when it rains.

This might be an noob question but I only started playing this game back in December. What is the addon/ui that lets you see your location? Places like thottbot list coordinates in forms of #s...but i cannot find out how to use this. I thought it was Cosmos but for some reason thats not doing it for me.

Dag, is Thunderhorn a pve server? Whats the population like? I have been playing pve on Alextrazsa and the queue up is awful. At least a 400-500 wait before I get in.

A new enchanting recipe that adds +25 Agility to two-handed weapons has been added to the Timbermaw Furbolgs that requires Friendly reputation.

This makes me happy... along with...

Tailors can now make bags with up to 24 slots that can only hold enchanting materials or herbs. The recipes can mostly be found on vendors that sell enchanting materials or on vendors in Silithus.

Wow that interface is awesome. Was that a custom one you did? or did youget it from somewhere? i wouldnt mind having mind like that...im using the basic setup WoW gives you.

On a funny note...I dont know but I always enjoy seeing people going through the trouble of making a guild, getting people to join..and then being embarassed because they are obviously...illiterate.

On a side notice, I'm actually thinking of abandoning my warrior. I mean, the thing is that a PVP server... well, it's just not fun for me. Case in point: The last time I logged on to the guy (yesterday), I got ganked and corpse-camped by a 50 priest and a 54 druid. But I can't just delete him yet. I did that with my paladin, except I didnt have to borrow money for a mount LOL. Dont delete him though...if you ever come up short on money...run a few VC or WC solo runs and earn about 5-10g each...makes somewhat of a mini-twink for a new character.

On a side note...Im still wondering which direction I wanna stick with for professions. I have a 34 rogue...who is using Herb and Alchemy...about maxed alch out for the level (225) and it doesnt make me moeny at all. I rolled a priest though...stuck with skin and mining and jesus f'ing christ. Im level 22 and have enough money for a mount...with gold to spare. Im amazed at people who will buy 10 copper ore for 60s a stack. Its great.

Are you horde? If so that makes getting WC gear a hell of alot easier. I tried getting it for my alliance rogue....jesus christ that was a lost cause. The Belt of the Fang didnt drop in 10 times I ran through it.

PVP can be fun..it just depends on where you are. If you are Horde in Tarren Mill...expect to be ganked alot since Southshore is mainly a 30+ Alliance town while TM is 20+ for Horde. Vice Versa...the Alliance in STV is just horrible.

The only problem with that is nowadays new PVE servers arent exactly new. They leave it open for 5-6 servers to be allowed to transfer. I was going to attempt a new server...but soon as I logged in...it felt like nothing new at all. Over 100 Alliance level 60's had transferred in one day. Now I dont see why Blizz just doesnt open a new server without any transfers at all.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

On my priest, i picked mining and skinning...at level 22 im up to about 120g. On my other characters...I dont have alot ...maybe 10-20g each.

Wow so even people on this forum are complaining? Yanno...why complain? Eventually its going to be fixed and if you lose one day...big deal? I dont think alot of people take into consideration how difficult it is to maintain servers that house as many players as it does. Even so...its patch day...you never ever expect to play any MMORPg on its patch day.

Yeah I believe it was a nerf. I first noticed it on the test servers. Glad I don't have a Pally worth playing anymore. Yeah the login servers are crap but I think its more then that. I recently rolled on a brand new server and you cannot even get to those. On any other server you can get on but it randomly disconnects you. I just ganked a troll shaman, waited for him to come back so I could rack up more honor from him but I was DC'ed. Oh well, im not going to piss and moan about how Blizzard owes me a refund like the majority of the people on WoW Forums. I still have Suikoden V

I dont see whats wrong with using the shield/hearth. I tend to do it if I see that im mismatched or that im about to be ganked to holy hell. If im fighting someone in pvp , and i start to lose...shield/mana pot/heal works well..or if im really low...lay on hands. It basically gives you an almost fresh start. Ive taken down just about every class, but also have lost to every class.

I too find it annoying that people yell about wanting <said class> to be nerfed. It seems they want them all nerfed except their own. You can beat any class, its just a matter of how you play.

Well I canceled my WoW account today, I am honestly fed up with the fact that half blizzards shit doesnt work anymore. I can understand taking stuff down and working on it....but taking it down and claiming it will be back up at this time...only to then correct themselves and say it will be fixed at a later time.

Not only that, they take the asshole route an brag about how well they did with maintence on the authenticate server...saying it was finally fixed...only for it to be worse then it was. Fuck you Blizzard...I can live without MMORPG.

Its ashame though, Ive never honestly been so pissed at a game service for how piss poor it was. SOE was bad...but never this bad.

Somebody dies outside of the game, and somebody organizes a memorial for the person. And then an alliance guild crashes it for NO FUCKING REASON.

Seriously, that's... bullshit. It's the sort of thing that should get accounts closed, IMO. There's PVP, and then there's being a fucking asshole. Somebody DIED, and people who could not afford to organize in any other way had their memorial ruined... why?

It just boggles my mind. I really have to wonder why somebody would do that. If a guild I were in did that, that would be an instant /gquit right there, period. Especially if it were condoned by the officers.

I am speechless at the fact that you and so many others a) get so upset over this or b) would actually take a wow funeral seriously. Yeah im sure its sad that whoever it was passed away...but i would laugh if i saw anyone having a ingame funeral for someone. I would laugh even harder if a guild attacked people during that funeral. Its a game, people need to stop taking it so seriously. It was freaking hilarious, even if it was a setup. I think the video that was released of it ...along with the music...was golden. One of the best videos i have seen in a long time based off of WoW...(even better then the "internet is for porn".

We finally got into MC tonight. Not too shabby, server opened up about 5 weeks ago and our guild pretty much zerged to 60. We tried a couple different things...first we tried to take n Azzy...and failed, which then we tried ZG and surprisingly enough we made it to Hakkar and got him down to 30%. After this jolt of confidence we ended up doing The Calling and started the War Effort (which has in turn brought in inflation...1.5g for 20 linen cloth? wtf.). After doing that we attempted Azzy again and managed to take him down. Finally tonight we went into MC with only 27 (some not yet 60) and took down all bosses up to but not including Garr. I was shocked we were able to get past Magmadarr with the group we had.

I also got to say..im not really too fond of my gear. I pretty much have 5/8 of the rogue shadowcraft stuff and am debating if I should go ahead and upgrade to the .5 tier or just start collecting the raid pieces as they drop. I cant wait until we are able to do AQ though...on my old guild we never made it that far.

Yeah I got the gloves, bracers and a bloodfang hood within 2 days. Its actually funny because our guilds dkp system has it where new members cant get any loot unless no one wants it and its bop, or if they get up to 200 lifetime dkp. Since i was the only non new rogue, I got all 3. 400 dkp for them though...but i still look awesome.

I have a huge complain though, im working on the dungeon set 2 quests ...and I have got to say that those are some annoying fucking quests to do for a slight upgrade. 45m baron run isnt that bad, unless you have a lame group.

Our guild is fucking amazing. We just started MC about 10 days ago and we downed Rag 2 nights ago. Of course due to this, most of the server hates us because they claim its impossible for a guild on a server thats only 6 weeks old to be able to accomplish that. So far we got all of MC, ZG, Ony twice, Azzy, Kazzak all down. We tried 2 of the green dragons (got close on one) and we tried Razorgore (got owned badly...but mostly because of people not kiting properly). We also got a shitload of backlash from other alliance players because we started the war effort. now everyone is all bitching because Linen Cloth is going for 1g. Hell, why would they bitch? Id go farm linen and make some awesome cash.

Now the DPS warriors know that Def should receive it first, so they're passing on the pretense that all def warriors pass on non-might plate. (which I have no problem with in)

and Jessy, that sucks ass. I hate when that shit happens. You get invited to go. Someone tells you your help won't go unrewarded only for someone to pull a douche-move like that. If the leader is that stupid to do all that shit and not have common sense, I can tell they're the type of people who probably constantly talked trash about you after you left and how "stupid you must be to think they'd give you something like that". Along with the retards that follow their every word because somewhere along the lines this game got to be about purples instead experience and fun.

Our guild uses a zero sum dkp system which works on every class except the warrior tanks we have. Our raid leader passes out might in rotation to the tanks. I dont think we have any fury/arms specced warriors in our guild, most everyone is specced to be able to tank when needed. We have had awesome success with Might drops, I think almost everyone has the BOE pieces, our MT has the chest, shoulders, belt, bracer, legs and as of last night...the wrath helm. It seems every MC run benefits to a certain class, ie) a ton of certain class pieces drops.

We finally put down Vael tonight and plowed our way through BWL, all the way up to Chromagg. Great thing was that 4 pieces of Bloodfang dropped...and since I was the only legit rogue (full member of the guild, 2 other rogues just joined a few days ago and per se our rules...until a member accumlates 200 dkp...they do not get preference on raid loot over members ) I got all 4 pieces. Add that to the leggings and hood I got earlier in the week makes 6 Bloodfang pieces in one week. Guttgore ripper in MH and the lame Hakkari warblade in offhand...im starting to own things. I want a perds blade though

When I leveled up on my server, I was one of the first 10 Alliance side to hit 60. At that point I had about 6/8 Shadowcraft and figured I would be waiting for a while to get my tier 1 stuff. Myself and another warrior did the .5 stuff together and finished it off within about a week. I spent a large amount of money on the items AND repair bills but it was worth it just to have. Dark Mantle looks sexy imo, and you wont see too many people with it. What I like is the boss encounters you do have some pretty awesome drops. I agree that Valtharak was harder then anything in UBRS but a well managed group can handle it.

Im too lazy to scroll up, but if anyone is complaining about the mats you need for the Tier 3 stuff...I say to them /crymore. I like the idea of making it harder to get great armor sets instead of random boss drops.

I like how Shamans have been whining nonstop about their talents, your overpowered anyway so stop crying. If you think your class in a certain talent is gimped then clearly you suck at that spec and should try something else.
