I just got Cube Media Player. So far, I've tried searching Worms Armageddon and DDRMAX for audio files. It found the Worms songs, and they played fine. They were .xa files, iirc.

As for DDRMAX, it didn't recognize that a disc was in the drive. So, I had to search the files on the disc itself. I found a file under the data/sound folder that contains all the 15-sec samples you hear when choosing a song as well as a few other music files. They are all ADPCM files. Unfortunately, they don't play properly. I can tell what song they're supposed to be, but it's kind of garbled and stuttery. I've tried changing the interleave and improved it just a bit, but it's still pretty messed up.

Any tips?
In most cases it's probably due to the audio being of multi-channel and no audio ripper ( To my knowledge ) can handle those kind of files. You could however try PSound as that handles ADPCM files quite well.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
