Silver linings

So if you read my journal lately you'll know I got burgled and my PSP got nicked. I spoke to the insurance company today and since they don't make PSPs any more, they're sending me a PS Vita to replace it...

I've not really looked into the Vita at all and no real intention of getting one but since I am now getting one, has anyone else got one and are any of the games worth getting? Also, what other cool stuff does it do except playing games that's worth investigating?

Jam it back in, in the dark.

As far as I'm concerned with anything I want or ordered already, DJMAX Technika Tune is something to look into. It won't sell in retail stores, but is available for pre-order on their website and Amazon later on.

Also, Persona 4: Golden if you haven't played P4 yet.

Otherwise, based on what my friends have said, Gravity Rush and Uncharted seem to be up there on people's choices.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Let's not forget the fact that all those games you already own? You can't play them because WHERE IS MY PHYSICAL MEDIA

Yeah, the Vita's a download only system.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Suddenly, Tina Belcher appeared in the doorway.
She knew what she had to do.
She touched Jimmy Jr's butt and changed the world.

Gravity Rush, bitch. Buy it.

And Sound Shapes. There's a bunch of PSP titles in the PS store that at probably Vita compatible. Just be sure to check before buying.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

Yeah there is that but it's been like three years since I used my old PSP for anything other than playing PS1 games through my PS3 and direct connect. Never did finish Tokobots though...

I was speaking idiomatically.

I'm for the whole download only movement, but I might be biased because I don't have a permanent residence.

Seems even more a boon for a portable system.

I'd get Rayman Origins.

Hahahaha, only Sony would release a console that requires you to have a memory card in order to download and play any games then not package the console with a memory card.

How ya doing, buddy?

WipEout 2048 is awesome unless you hate the series. The Pinball Arcade is awesome if you love pinball. Virtua Tennis 4 if you love tennis. I love all these games.

Also, get Aqua Kitty!! It's a cute take on Defender (you know, that classic game) where you have to defend your miner cats from being taken from ocean critters.

Also, Retro City Rampage comes out today if you like that kind of stuff.

P.S. Why can't the people just get a PSP in a store? Are they all gone already?? I never really checked.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

I believe they stopped production once the Vita came out.

Hope my PS3K doesn't break anytime soon then! I have a lot of UMD only games I can't play on the Vita

There's nowhere I can't reach.
