Somehow not a Visual Retread - Thunder Force VI

Spoiler:

- PS2
- Directed by Tez Okada (SGGG, Astro Boy GBA)
- Many of the stages and bosses are a mix or remix from throughout the series
- 3D horizontal shooter
Edit: For those of you who don't know, which might be a lot of you considering the SNES contingent of players we have, Thunder Force was a series primarily recognized as a Sega property at Thunder Force II. Unlike Gradius or R-Type, Thunder Force is recognized as being one of the most successful aggressive type shoot em ups of the time. Where level memorization would occasionally take a backseat to just outright shooting faster than the enemy. If you haven't played them, go out and change this.

Immediately.

Now.

WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE.

Anyway, for those who are in the know, if you look closely at the scan, you'll see Gargoyle from Thunder Force III. Game of the fucking decade.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Freakin' SWEET.

Very exciting stuff judging from the screenshots. I suppose there's no news of an overseas release, but since I actually have a chipped PS2 and it probably doesn't matter that much, I might just import this one as it comes out.

I want to play Thunder Force 2 now.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Sweet, a new Thunder Force game! This giant image and the five seconds I have allowed for the news to sink in has resulted in a strong desire for this game. I guess I can replay the older games in the meantime to hold me over.

I was speaking idiomatically.

PS2 CONTINUES TO BE THE BEST CURRENT GENERATION CONSOLE. It looks great, I hope the music somehow lives up to the greatness of the Mega Drive games. =o~

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

I loved the music from Thunder Force IV, and I bet the gameplay isn't bad either. I will be looking forward to this. My PS2's queue continues to grow
