[Anime] Bleach

This week's episode wasn't so bad. The show is airing at a new time over there now. Since Gintama will air very soon , the next episode will be 2 hours O.o..

edit : i think i got that wrong. both episodes will be an hour. So that's freakin sweet for Gintama. i can't wait.

Any one seen the Sword Frenzy? I think it is a some kind of special epi. (since it was only 30 min... no way it could have been a movie.) The Sword Frezy was alright... err how do you use spoiler tag?

It was the second OVA.

I found it entertaining as well. Especially with all the other characters from SS showing up.

Ichigo asked how dude with red hair and whip katana had found his house. And then later showed the gang meeting Hantarou but no Gansu(sp?). Which is if according to the current arc not possible unless all the hantarou stuff in the arc is flash backs. But then again...

I'm confused. :P

Everybody, Bleach is going to Adult Swim this fall. Now if only they did the same thing with Naruto despite the average dub (as it gets better later on).

Caught up with the anime recently and am hoping the fillers won't go overboard like Naruto has with crap quality and constantly delaying the next arc.

I'm actually enjoying the Bleach fillers. Maybe it helps that it doesn't have as much of a filler-feel since I don't keep up with the manga like I do with Naruto.

Nice that Bleach'll be on Adult Swim. I probably won't watch it as usual, but it'll there just in case I'm bored. A lot of the jokes (applies to most anime anyway) in Bleach seem like they just won't be delivered very well in a dub. Meh, I see them getting butchered, but whatever.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

That's terrifying in a way, but I'll probably nab a tasteful keychain (not those gigantic rubber ones) if those ever get made. I guess it isn't that bad, unless people start sporting their Bleach backpacks, shirts, hats, and pins simultaneously.

Adult Swim, eh? I'm sure most of us saw it coming anyways. Oh well. At least when I mention Bleach to my "lunch buddies" ( ), they'll know what I'm talking about. I'm pretty sick of hearing about InuYasha every single time I run into them!

Hopefully, the dub doesn't get butchered. It'd be nice to get a voice actor for Ichigo similar to the Japanese one. The whole throaty tone suits the character quite well. I'd hate to see that go away.

I think the reason for it being on adult swim is probably due to the massive blood lost that everyone gets in a fight.

It was interesting to see how the new opening slightly resembled the first one. I don't mind the new OP song either.

Yeah, if they made like a pewter keychain of Zangetsu I'd pick one up in a heartbeat.

As for the dubs, call me crazy but I always thought the VA for Yusuke from Yu Yu Hakusho would be pretty decent for Ichigo. But not quite his Yusuke voice. If it were deeper it'd be perfect.

The OP was rather boring, but I enjoyed the new ED - great voice.

Bleach's Op's where doing great til this one came up.

Only Bleach endings i hated most are Happy People and my pace.

You guys watched "sealed sword frenzy" right? Well end of that Ichigo uses his bankai to get his Tensa Zangetsu to kill Baishin right? Well I just realized that one of the filter mentioned that you can't use Bankai in human world... anyone can clear that out?

I'm not a huge fan of BEAT CRUSADERS, so the song has a ways to go in growing on me, but the style of the OP was a nice blend between *~Asterisk~'s and D-tecnoLife's. I like it.

No.. I think they said that since he's a substitue shinigami again he cannot use bankai. He has to relearn to use it as long as he's a substitute.

I remember hearing their OP for Beck. I don't follow them, so I wasn't expecting the new Bleach OP to be in English. I saw the raw for it a few days before the sub came out, and I was unable to pick up all of what they were singing.

Man, I miss *~Asterisk~ and Ichirin no Hana already, and of course, LIFE. The new opening and ending didn't instantly please me like the three I mentioned did.
