GBA Cover Project

Tired of your old GBA boxes being so ugly? Lost your boxes? Did your boxes get wet and ruined because you spent all of your money buying video games and couldn't afford to fix the leaking ceiling?

Well, SnackbarGames has started a GBA Cover Project. Due to DS cases having an extra slot for GBA games THE INTERNET has started to make covers for the DS cartridges for your GBA games.

You can buy blank cases at Nintendo's official store. $7 USD for 10 blank cases.

This is pretty sexy. Finally a chance to drop those flimsy cardboard boxes that have been used since the first Tetris was released. Would be really nice if they could open up their cover archive to donations so those without scanners or the skill to make good looking covers could benefit from the generosity of others. Actually, it seems they already have a pretty substantial database built on donations.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

The site is a little slow but wow what a project! And seven bucks for 10 cases? Not bad at all, really.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Nice, I'm glad to this link since the boards went down. Thanks for posting it.

I don't have too many GBA games, so I'll probably do this mainly to get boxes for games that I bought used. Or "pre-played" if we want to say it the EB games way.

Cool. This is a nice link to have. Thanks.

This would probably be a nice little project to approach once I get some more time... and motivation. I do have a lot of GB/A games. I would want a nicer printer for something like this anyway. I will wait a couple months, and by then there should be plenty more covers.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Yeah, this is one of the reasons I want a nicer printer. I'm definately intending to do this with my GBA collection once I do.

I'm also likely going to invest in those all purpose media cases so I can do my N64 and SNES games too. I'd prefer them to be in nice cases with covers than in bins and such.

I also intend to replace my PSX and DC games with DVD case versions eventually as well. Perhaps a project to persue over the summer...

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Would I be able to get a link to these all purpose media cases?

What irks me the most, is the fact that Nintendo won't sell blank GameCube cases. =/

How ya doing, buddy?

Sony won't do that either, nor will Microsoft with their cases. What's your point?

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

All that PS2/GC (and I assume Xbrick too) game cases are, are DVD cases with an added space for memory cards. You don't need Nintendo/Sony/Microsoft to sell you specialty cases.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I used to have (all be it, not that well done) PS2 Covers for Final Fantasy 4 and 5 PSX on my DA account but DA got bitchy about it and deleted them.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Be sure to get ones with sleeves if you intend to use the covers.
