Ok, it seems like I found a file I couldn't get from the ftp, and that is the band Kenso with the album "III". Also, if there is someone who has more of this band I would appreciate you sharing it!
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Kenso - III
For all you curious onlookers, I've always thought the album is similar to a PS2 RPG's soundtrack being done by Ozric Tentacles. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
Hi> This thread looks very nice!
I am going to upload Praful's 'Pyramid in your Backyard' to the other thread if anyone is interested. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

Before anyone yells at RainMan, I've already directed him toward the actual MEC thread. He didn't know there were two, which is a simple mistake.
It's all good now. I was speaking idiomatically. |
I got the hang of it Crash. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Dude, keep it up, I'm digging Praful.
FELIPE NO |
Yeah, same here. I actually just got around to listening to it today but I really dig this album so far. It's got this Massive-Attack-locked-in-combat-with-Yann-Tiersen-with-Coltrane-as-a-ref kinda thing going.
What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
Well said.
And just when I was getting bored with guitar albums, Nanaman saves the day. It sounds like a combination of Jeff Back and Satch. Good stuff. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Wark! |
I have to drop off a thank you for Midlake, Nova. The whole album is terrific, particularly Head Home which I have to name my favorite track.
Encephalon, you pretty much nailed Praful on the head with your clever-if-ever-too-lengthy-(do-you-see-what-im-trying-to-do-here?) description How ya doing, buddy? |
Sure, just when I was finished going through all my recent downloads, some asshole puts up ten albums at once. =p It wouldn't be a problem if it was a bunch of crap, but most of it looks interesting. Damn you.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
I had a whole day with nothing to do at all. I couldn't help myself.
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Moondog was great and surprising in all kinds of ways. I'll surely explore the rest of his works.
Funny to notice how it has been sampled to death, heh. Most amazing jew boots |
Yeah, Moondog is probably the only thing I'll be listening to again (beside The Sadies, which I already had).
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
Figured I would pop in long enough to mention how epic the "Ants to the Sky" track off of the new Between the Buried and Me album is.
FELIPE NO |
yo Encephalon! thanks for uploading this new nujabes mixtape. I didn't have that one!
For those wondering where the hell was I in the last year...well.... I was in Japan for 8 months and I came back to canada like 3 months ago and it took me a while before going back to my old state....so...I shall bring back my presence to GFF more often and upload some great music..like I used too! Good to know this thread is still alive. good stuff! What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? 男:チャールズマーティノ; プローグー4 |
PLUG!!!!
Welcome back! <3 Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Wark! |
Between the Buried and Me isn't me unfortunately. However, Ayreon is sick. I'm only on track one and I very much like what I'm hearing.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Edit: btw, Divest, why did you rate this down? This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

The other albums (though they're one of my favorite bands) just don't hold up to their latest. Can't even hold a candle to it. Most amazing jew boots |
Yeah, I don't remember liking Between the Buried and Me, but I gave Colors a shot and was pleasantly surprised.
I never got into Ayreon either, but if the first track is any indication, this may be the album that gets me. Oh yeah, Nanaman, I'm actually enjoying the J-Pop. XD Actually, I've enjoyed all your contributions so far, keep it up. I was speaking idiomatically.

Since I can't prop a post twice, I'll just do this instead. I think anyone who's into laid back folk music should go listen to the Moyshe McStiff & The Tartan Lancers Of The Sacred Heart album knkwzrd posted.
It's absolutely refreshing to listen to and it's got a cool medieval type groove going to it which is very nice. The instrumentation is also a bit out of the ordinary which helps to make it appealing. Truly worth a listen. Props once more to knk!!! What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? Juggle dammit

When I downloaded that album, all I saw was C.O.B. and I assumed it was a Children of Bodom album. XD I'll admit, I don't think I gave it a chance once I realized I was mistaken.

On track: I've never heard of The Field, and Techno for me was 8th grade (8 years ago). But I do LOVE the word "minimalist", so allowed the download to take place. It's beautiful. Mellow, even. Soothing, though it definitely packs a beat. First impressions usually take off in different directions over time, but I sense a timeless quality to the album; its hard for me even to pinpoint favs since the album works so well collectively. Thanks Capo. How ya doing, buddy? |
Aryeon is amazing. One of the better things I've heard in a long, long while.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
It turns out that today is opposite day, so all of what you have said is true, so you should probably just go.
