I've always had a sort of facination with movies that manage to tell a story with absolutely no dialogue. With this in mind, I had come across this fantastic movie (at least I thought it was fantastic) on Netflix called "The Illusionist". Not to be confused with the one where Jessica Biel was involved, rather this movie was an animated indie film that told the story of a struggling magician who ends up befriending a girl who uninvitingly tags along with him on his journey. It was interesting to say the least. Another movie along these lines that I say was a worth while experience was "The Triplets of Bellville". Again, animated indie film with no dialogue. As for a third flick I watched recently, I had just finished "Gaslight" starring Ingrid Bergman last nite. It's an old black and white movie that caught my eye simply for due to the fact that Ingrid Bergman was casted. Anything that she's in is simply superb in my books.
Jam it back in, in the dark. Today's special on the menu: Freshly PWNED Shotgun Heroes. |
