"I'm Ed Bradley." RIP. :(

CBS reporter and 60 Minutes mainstay Ed Bradley has died of leukemia.

http://tv.msn.com/tv/article.aspx?news=241087&GT1=7703

I remember when I was younger how my parents would watch 60 Minutes every Sunday; it just didn't seem like Sunday evening without it. Ed and all the others never failed to bring interesting stories to the table.

However, I've lost touch with the program over the years, so much that I wasn't aware Ed had been sick until now.

Take care, Mr. Bradley. And thanks for some great years of newscasts.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Oh that sucks

Ed Bradley always seemed like a very cool laid back guy. I just saw him speaking on TV the other day.

How ya doing, buddy?

GHOSTS?

On a serious note... He was pretty rad. Definitely as good a reporter as they come.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Oh no! First Peter Jennings and now Ed Bradley...I MUST stop developing affections for the men who bring me my news (or used to as they are all not reporting by the time they've passed on)...

this is so saddening. I loved watching him on 60 minutes - ever since I was in elementary school. He was probably my favorite of all the reporters. I still remember that one report he did on the blind percussionist it was definitely inspiring both in topic and how he covered it. He's left quite a legacy behind and he will be missed...

He was one of the few that I liked on that show. Oh well, everybody dies at some point.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Man, that sucks. When I first heard about this, it surprised me. Isn't he like, the youngest person ON 60 Minutes?

He was also my favorite. Lame.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?
