Silly Question
I've got a video file that's 704MB, and I'm wondering what would happen if I burn this onto a 700MB CD-R disc? I'm not looking to play this in a DVD or anything, because I don't got a DVD burner to do that. So, I'd be burnt onto disc just as a data file. Would the video file be corrupt when I extract it from the disc, or will some of the video be cut off towards the end?
Thanks for the help in advance, guys. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Depending on what program you use to burn, it might not let you make the disc at all.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
I should have mentioned that, sorry about that. I'm going to use Nero Burning Rom 7.0.0.0.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
NERO will tell you if the space on the disc is not sufficient to burn your file. NERO has an option for overburning though, and as you'll probably only be a few MBs over the limit, at most, it might work out alright. But then again it might not.
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Here's a thread that has a bit about overburning.
http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.ph...light=overburn If you look on www.doom9.org in the guides section, you can find a guide for overburning.
