Call of Duty 3 - Wii
http://www.revo-europe.com/news.php?nid=9271
Good news for Nintendo as they are showing to the public they want to have all types of games and continue to shove it to critics that refer to Nintendo as the kiddy console. Jam it back in, in the dark.
Missing that one music track:
Fire Fight - Mission X // Frostbite |
Nintendo still has an uphill battle to overcome that image of "kiddie", though. I think if they target the right kinds of gamers AND avoid making too many cutesy games at the start, they might have a shot. Hell, the system's sleek enough to attract adults the same way the iPod does.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
The only reason this thread would be closed is the fact that the majority of the posts are "lol your a n00b". If this was all relavent CoD discussion, it would warrant its own thread.
Now to contribute to the thread: I wasn't a huge fan of CoD, but I played a bit of it on PC. However, I might end up buying it if it comes out for Wii, becuase I like the idea of controlling FPSs with the Wiimote. I think it's also good becuase it will help Nintendo get rid of their "kiddy" image. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. I played the PC version of CoD2, and frankly it's the only squad-based FPS I've actually been able to enjoy. It's likely that the Wii version will be the only version I own for a while considering I'm unwilling to slap down cash for a 360 anytime soon, and I have no intention to ever purchase a PS3.
I'd rather play with a mouse/keyboard than the Wiimote for this kind of FPS, though, considering that the precise down-the-sights aiming with no shudder whatsoever is likely to be replaced by adrenaline-fuelled jerky movements courtesy of the Wiimote. I'm looking forward to Red Steel more than this. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
i think it would be a great game, not to mention red steel, its going to rock too.
but i think id rather play cod3 on either the ps3 or the 360. I was speaking idiomatically.
Keep your friends close and your enemies....closer.

Yes, let us rid ourselves of our "kiddie" image by releasing Yet Another World War Two Shooter. Only this time, you can use our wacky controller!!
I honestly don't know what's worse anymore, the people who call Nintendo "kiddie" or the fans who post any so-called "adult" game and vehemently deny it. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
I just like the caption.
"World War Wii" lol @ puns. FELIPE NO |
