But if anyone did notice this guy, who did he play? I just want to know since it says he had a speaking role.
I think his name was Jim Hill. He was the guy in the front with the Homeland Security people.

My belief is that the nerve gas and the President aren't related. Logan has been trying to glorify his presidency, as evidenced by his willingness to sign the treaty. To assist in this, I believe Logan contacted Henderson to create a terrorsit attack that the country could put down, providing proof of his "effective leadership." Keep in the mind that the nerve gas thing was supposed to be against Russia. Henderson probably orchestrated the Russians finding Walt's inside man and the whole gas complex blueprint thing. Logan simply had to agree with Hal's Martial Law proposition to make it easier for the attack to occur, all the while not knowing that the nerve gas plot was the very one he had set in motion (he's naive like that).

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I agree, Logan is too dumb to be part of any such plot, and it does seem like it'd require retcon.

However, we don't have a lot of information yet. We shouldn't jump to conclusions. Perhaps it will turn out that the president is (thinking he's) doing something completely different than orchestrating the whole terrorist plot.

I'm pretty sure she said they called her "around an hour ago", so that certainly explains her previous calmness.

Confirmed.

Spoiler:
Tony is alive.

Anyway, yeah. Logan's name pretty much never came up in any conversation theorizing who the "man behind it all" was. We agreed it was someone high up, like Secretary Heller or something. I'd say the President is pretty damn high up. 24 did a good job at drawing away any suspicision on him, basically due to his dumbity and weakfulnessness. The season still could make sense. Let's just see how they make sense of it all in the next.. what, 7 hours? osnap.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Sources! I refuse to believe until I get sources! If what you're saying is true, then we've got some major reaching done here by the writers I feel.

Sources: Jack Bauer, Dikembe Mutombo, Jesus F. Christ, the Democractic Republic of Congo, and the Socialist Republic of Congo in Uraguay.

I also think that the President wanted to get the Subarovs killed, but his wife wasn't supposed to get involved. Hence, the praying.

When they cover someone up with a plastic sheet, that usually means they're dead.

If Jack can't man-hug him back to life, then there's no coming back.

Is it that hard to understand that what Logan did was the PERFECT plan? Pretend to be dumb so people don't suspect you. Who are you to say he's too dumb to be part of any such plot, when he was more than likely acting?

Well, I re-watched the very first episode and Palmer was distracted with Logan's meeting with the Russian president. When Martha heard of the news of David's death, she kept referring to others about meeting with Palmer about something related to Logan that was very important. When Logan "comforted" her, as he left the room he had a very evil stare followed by a sigh before confronting Cummings...

Of course, I didn't think much of that at the time due to the crap that almost happened to Tony and Chloe after Michelle and Palmer died, so it's not like I (or anyone else) could have just predicted that out of the blue, due to Logan's doofus and childish mannerisms, as well as the aura surrounding Martha's mental stability that everyone was playing up to. Gregory Itzin deserves an Emmy for his performance.

Rewatching this season makes it better, IMO. But now I'm going to wait until the last 8 episodes are finished before I do anymore backtracking.

Sutherland bumped to executive producer for the next three seasons eh. Pretty cool, pretty cool. And the film is still looking like it is going to happen. This would occur even when the TV show is going on I guess.

Yeah I saw that long ass preview for it somewhere. It actually looks decent, and he is playing a Secret Service agent I think. Of course, he would never play it the same way as Bauer.

However, I may actually like to hear him in The Wild moreso. He has been voice acting that movie for the past 5 years at least.

You know when you hear his voice in The Wild you're just going to be waiting for him to shout, "MOVE MOVE THERE'S NO TIME GET OUT OF HERE!"

I'd actually be kinda disappointed if he didn't get to say that.

I'd go see The Wild just for the chance of hearing the Lion yell "You have to trust me!" I believe that would make it worth my money, but only because it's Jack Bauer. As a Lion. Or something.

Shoot, Keifer's voice just demands you to pay attention.

Point in case, I now a Verizon phone (after having Spring PCS for awhile) and have a large desire to get an Apple with the Intel chip.

The only part missing from this puzzle is Allstate Insurance.

(By the way, has anyone taken a look at Kiefer's full name? You can find it on Wikipedia. Dear god, even his name kicks other names' asses).

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

His name is longer than two Mexicans at the same time, it's ridiculous. I wish my name was that cool, but it's stunted at a measly 4 words, none of which are particularly great. Keifer's full name makes me and every other male to ever have a name jealous, in fact, most people period, except perhaps Ed from Cowboy Bebop. She's the first one I thought of when I saw his name.

That's great news about him being an executive producer now, FOR THREE MORE SEASONS! No more anticipation like there was at the end of season 4 about whether the show will come back or not. This way guarantees that I'll be watching new episodes of 24 up until I graduate from college. Hell yeah!

Ultima | "YOU KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS RIGHT? WE'RE TALKING ABOUT GOING DOWN ON THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES."

Yeah, Jack Bauer is our fucking hero. I went ahead and started a wiki page for 24. It contains some in-depth information and summaries about 24.

Spoiler:

I like how the it's really only the women of 24 fuck up everything. The only chick who hasn't failed has been that lesbian chick. Audrey and Chloe have been solid this season, though. Mad props.

LOL.

What's the lesson for today: Don't leave a fucking tree stump right next to your goddamn fence. It defeats the purpose of the fence, and you'll most likely wind up dead.

Tonight's episode managed to explain a few things, but it still hasn't completely revealed Logan's intentions for participating in this conspiracy. Until it's completely revealed, I'm still gonna be a little skeptical about his connection to this whole thing.

Question: Why is crazy sexual harassment lady still there? Since they got rid of the majority of CTU, why keep her? Chloe's reason for staying is obvious, but they never explained why they kept her (not that I can remember, anyway).

Next Week:
Heller is gonna rock next week. Yay for confronting the President!

How about that make-out music for the Logans? I know it was making me randy.

looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooool

(Also, Chloe with another best-line-ever "If you care so much I can write up a report for you." I was totally on the edge of my seat during that scene.)

Edit: I think sexual harassment lady came from DoD, not CTU.

Maybe, I'm not sure. I don't remember them bringing in anybody after the attack except people from Homeland Security, which I know she's not a part of. I thought she was someone who worked in another section of CTU and was brought up to the floor to replace Edgar.

Second one needs some HALO lovin'. You know, Jack Bauer is obviously just some guy that wants to be Master Chief.
