Video out from notebook
I attempted to connect my Inspiron 1705 to my TV for video output. I went to the NVidia control panel and configured a laptop+TV display. The notebook has an S-video out. My TV is an old model so I use an RF modulator for input like game consoles. The modulator has an S-Video jack so I can connect my PC directly to it. However, the modulator does not show any input recieved (the LED should turn green) and the TV remains blank. What do I do?
Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Try enabling the option in the nVidia settings to force detection of the TV.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
I did that. I think the computer detects the TV but the RF modulator does not detect the computer. Strange.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
