The forum style interface of vBulletin attachments does not lend itself to quick indexing of attachments. I think there are some enhancements that can be made to simplify this process.
For instance, allowing us to list down all attachments in a particular thread, or all attachments made by a particular person, would go a long way in aiding organization, vis a vis time-consuming manual updating. Better yet, an automatic crawler and indexer (mod-activated on certain threads) would really make my day, assuming it is possible given programming and server cpu processing restrictions  This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
