New interview with Mitsuda and Procyon Studio staff!
Here is a new interview with Yasunori Mitsuda and all members of Procyon Studio:
http://www.eminenceonline.com/2006/i...cyon_interview This is very interesting to learn more about new member Shota Kageyama, who is working on DS RPG Luminous Arc. But it's too bad Mitsuda gave no details about the release of that long-awaited Chrono Cross arrange album... By the way, as you can see on the link above, Mitsuda will attend a series of concerts called "Passion", mainly performing in Australia for now. There will be tunes from Chrono series, for example. But I heard they were planning to come to other places as well. Hitoshi Sakimoto will attend "Passion" as well since his music will be performed (such as Final Fantasy XII, Vagrant Story and even Legaia Duel Saga!). Bah. Lucky Aussies. :eyebrow: Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Here's another interview with Mitsuda. I think it's interesting, and definitely worth a read.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
I don't know him personally, but it seems like Mitsuda is just a cool, down-to-earth guy. That little bit about making a soundtrack for a game he doesn't like is classic (Deep Labyrinth?) He was one of my main influences in wanting to get into game music, both in his background and his style, and I hope I can meet him someday. But I guess I need to start up again with my Japanese studies.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
