Place to announce local tournaments?
I've just been informed that this is not the proper place to announce any kind of tournament type events for various video games. Is there any other area of the forums where that kind of thing belongs or is there another place I should go?

Actually, the Multiplayer Arena can be used for that. I added a tournament tag to it a while ago.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
