Stop Firefox from playing music

When I visit certain sites which have music embedded in them(like hell.oddforums' ban page) it automatically plays music. Is there any way that I can have control over this, or even prevent it from playing music altogether?
I'm running the most recent release of Firefox.

Thanks

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Adblock Plus can be convenient for blocking embedded content.

Also lol for Hell (It is a forum).

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Sweet. Thanks.

I'm trying to configure this thing now, and I seem to be running into a problem of filter authoring.
I want flash files(thats what plays the music) on that site alone to be blocked; so I know that I can use:
Code:
 swf|
to block all flash universally.
Do you know how I could add in this filter option:
Code:
 |hell.oddwebsite.com
?

could this be done as follows?:
Code:
|hell.oddwebsite.com*swf|
Thanks again.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I'd do just hell.oddwebsite.com/*.swf or wherever the swf's are stored (some of them come from zanno.oddwebsite.com)

Ah, excellent. Thanks a lot.

I was speaking idiomatically.
