Get Lost

Or don't, because it might not be worth getting. Quite a mystery. They released a trailer for the Lost video game yesterday, looks pretty good! The jungle is already looking nice and jungle-ish. The massive amount of screen tearing is pretty intense. It's developed by Ubisoft Montreal (Prince of Angst, Splinter Cell, uh.. Speed Devils), plus they also helped with the King Kong game, so hopefully it won't stink up the joint. According to older interviews and such located on the internet, you'll be playing as a nobody (worked for the Matrix game oh wait), but the trailer clearly shows Jack running around! Maybe Jack's a nobody. I like how he's being killed by bats. They're planning to release it just before season four starts early next year, it's for PS3, 360 and PC. =o~

Oh and there's a tiny flash of the computer screen Locke's looking at in the trailer. But it's not really worth trying to pause to view, because.. uh, here!

Wow.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Apparently the iPod Video Lost game is pretty good. I would download to confirm but they're charging like $20 for it.

I'd like to play that just to see him go through with this idea!

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

You know, they could have created an old school point & click adventure game of this using SCUMM and it would have probably been ace.

Now the chances of it becoming a third person action game with dodgy animation and combat are very, very high.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Ah, but it also has a very high chance of someone yelling "YOU BITCH" at Kate!

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

I dunno, I think there are plenty of good action/adventure titles out there. I was just wondering to myself if the success of Lost on TV might lead to a resurgence in adventure titles.

How ya doing, buddy?

Nice to see they went all-out with the trailer.

:JACK RUNS AROUND THE JUNGLE FOR NO REASON:

:L O S T:

Maybe he was in fact lost. Anyway, as a video game, this will most likely be worthless. You'll be able to get it for 15$ three months after the release.

Good lord Jesus I have to get this game. This reminds me of the good old days' click-and-walk adventures like Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade or ZakMcCracken. Maybe this game will show us what the PS3 is capable of, graphically (hehe)

This could definitely be something to look forward to. I generally lose interest in the show midway through the season but it tends to draw me back in at the end of each season again.

The game will hopefully tell us more about the island and why/how such supernatural incidents are able to occur on it.
