Hey just wanted to know if there is a way to see a character's movelist on Fighter Factory (or another program) cause the movelist it came with is in Japanise.

No there is always the basic mugen. its probly just a new version that someone made that has a specific number of characters and stages with some kind of special twist.

For fighter factory just experiment with what you can do cause there is no tutorial for it which kinda sucks.

Go post request in the trading forum and dont make demands ask for something politely.

can anyone help me make some of my characters a little taller or somthing ? i have some tiny DBZ ones id like to make a lil bigger

How ya doing, buddy?

to change the size of your char go to the ooo.cns (ooo=character name, ex:for chipp the file is name chipp.cns), open it and look for 2 lines: xscale and yscale, which is normally 1 except for ggx characters. Now just change the number to a bigger one to increase the size or lower it to decrease it, so make a char smaller whose size is 1 you can put something like 0.5 to reduce his size in half (kind of a percentage method if you think about it)

Double Post:
Little question for those who use Fighter Factory: why when I put a .bmp or .pcx sprite it appears excellent (with no palettes errors) and when I put mugen and do the move of the sprite it doesn't appear?. But when I put it like a .png it appears with the palette errors and also appears in mugen with the errors.

Other thing, how can I make the char use 1 palette for his sprites and other for the effects?

I have a character request here: I'd appreciate that somebody uploads a high quality testament, because I've checked the pages of this forum and all I found was aoao's version which is clearly not as good as other I saw somewhere over the net (which of course I don't have now).

I have 627 stages (I know, I know, MUGEN holds 600...) And The majority don't work. Sometime when I load them I get an error: "Could not load stages/x.def, error loading x.sff"

The thing is, I can see the stages perfectly in Stageviewer. How do I fix this?

someone probably already asked this but is there a way to put the music in the song folder to play randomly on any stage. It would be a shame to have music confined to only one character or stage :/

go into each stage's def file, and look for the line that looks like this:
spr = stages/x.sff


make sure the slash before the sff file name is a forward slash like in the line above(/), if it's a backward slash, mugen will give you that error when it tries to load the stage

Hmm I've been trying to hold this off for a long time and search for myself but I've been fed up. Anybody know where I can get a mvc2 globe setup on the character select screen? I'm making my own custom screenpack I guess you could say because I don't want one of the same everything heh I'd like it if anyone could help me out thanks in advance. - Jin

Does anyone have any links to some "updated" character creation tutorials? The one I've referenced forever is the old official one from Elecbyte:

I'm looking for (possibly) a newer one, that shows some more modern techniques and/or links on how to do stuff easier than back in the day. I've had a Protokul character unfinished for two years now because I screwed him up. Hopefully this will let me start him over, but I want to do things in a more updated sense this time around. Are there any good programs for doing any of this? I've used Fighter Factory and Character Maker, but the results are often not very great...

Any links to a tutorial, video, etc. would be appreciated. Thanks!

Yeah but I can't seem to isolate getting just the character select screen and keeping everything else that I've taken the time to put on the screenpack. Any help on how to just get the character select screen to work? - Jin
