I didn't play a huge amount of new games this year, so my list will be simple:
Overwatch - 40 points
All the TF2 without the hats with all of the Blizzard humor and silliness. Still playing it, loving the fact that they keep giving free maps, game modes, and heroes without a DLC pricetag.
World of Warcraft - Legion - 30 points
As Pang said, all of the grueling grinding of WoD without the feeling of grueling grinding. They listened to people complaining about not enough content in WoD by unleashing a fuckton of content at the start (and the first patch of) Legion. I am still trying to get through it all and the next patch is around the corner.
Pokemon Go - 20 points
I played way more of this than I'd care to admit. It is a dandy little time sink when you're out and about. Plus I get to hear about all of the dumb people who tried to catch Pikachu while driving at 40MPH and crashing into cop cars!
Dead by Daylight - 10 points
It was alright. I didn't play it a lot, but the concept was good. I wasn't a fan of how they did the online quickplay. I would have liked an option to allow random killer/escapees instead of picking one side ahead of time.
