Hopefully they'll pick this up for a full season. Seeing Mignola's artwork in motion is pretty awesome. The humor is also surprisingly good. Emperor Zombie is quickly working his way up the "best villain evar" list.

Be sure to fill out the survey afterwards!

Yeah, I've put links up for it in my journal and been spreading the word to friends. This show deserves a season. At least ONE season. People cannot deny the brilliance that is Mike Mignola.

There really needs to be more good animated shows on TV. Actually, more older-audience animated shows that air outside of Adult Swim. So yeah, I hope this will get picked up.

Plus -- David Hyde Pierce!!!
Sorry, but I love almost everything he's involved in. And him in general.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Who even watches Adult Swim anymore? What's even on it?

I just download Venture Brothers...

That was hilarious. Emperor Zombie was great. The way he abducted Patience and taunted Screw-On Head with a simple "Mine now." was awesome incarnate. I didn't think David Hyde Pierce would have much of a career after Frasier ended, but if this gets a season or two it could definitely pick back up. And Patton Oswalt is one of my favorite comedians. I can't quite tell which one he plays though. Mr. Groin sounds the most like him I think.

I definitely want to see this get at least one season, like Jessykins said.

I watch it for that very reason.

That was a pretty neat show. I thought it was going to be a straight up serious show, but after awhile I enjoyed it's tongue in cheek humor, and the alternative universe was quite a refreshing site from all the modern day animations that populate TV.

The animation reminded me of Spawn and Men In Black.

I didn't know Patton Oswalt could voice act this well. He comes off as such a convincing manservant that the thought never crossed my mind that it could be Oswalt. Then again, he has been a long time comic book fan, so he probably has a personal stake in the project that becomes his personal muse.

The humor is pretty awkward at a lot of points, but then the Venture Brothers pilot wasn't all sunshine and rainbow farts either.

All in all, this show is pure awesome, and while the tongue-in-cheek may be old hat for those familiar with the humor, a Mike Mignola steampunk is exactly what's needed in animation today.

I watched the pilot over at SciFi yesterday and I loved it. I really hope this show gets picked up for some future seasons.

What surprised me about the show was that its TV developer, Bryan Fuller, developed Wonderfalls, a show I just started watching on DVD that is very funny as well. Seeing this pilot come up right after watching his previous show was a surprise.

I can't wait to see new episodes.

Anybody know a way to download the pilot? I need to make it to some friends of mine who don't have the intraweb!

Nice to see some interest in the series.

The Hellboy animated series should be good, also. Too bad they're not using Mignola's style on that one.

Yeah, but Mignola himself asked for the Animated series to have a different visual style, so, we'll see.
