Fun games you can play for like 10min

Can anyone recommend fun games that i can keep comming back to? I'm looking for little fighters or shooters that i can play when i'm bored. Preferably something i can download, so there's some actual quality to it, but flash games are good too...I suppose.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Well obviously there's the gff arcade, but half of the games are lol.

If you're looking for shooters try going here as there's a billion+ listings of PC shooters available around the internets. I don't know of any that aren't exactly time consuming (even the touhou shooters are relatively time consuming, you won't want to play one for 10 minutes alone if you're going to try), but there's always Every Extend.

It's basically a variant type of shooting game where you don't shoot, but deliberately blow yourself up. Your explosion hits other enemies, which triggers a chain, which could possibly hit other enemies, and so forth. The entire game is based around chaining from suicide, and you have the option of killing yourself a certain amount of times.

It doesn't really fit into either catagory you're aiming for but I'd still try it out if you're wanting a quick game.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Yeah, it really is. I'm not convinced that E3 is worth a purchase on the PSP, but the free version is... worth every penny?

Actually, I find laying the smack down on some bots in UT99 in short bursts very gratifying. It's just enough to get the blood pumping, and you can definitley get through a DOM match or a few Deathmatches or a CTF in 10 minutes. Just don't get sucked in.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Here's an arcade game for those who love high-speed mecha aerial battles.

http://nextframe.jp/flash/seventhSky64M.html

The controls work as such, for your convenience. :biggrin:

Mouse (tap once) = moves in the given direction
Mouse (tap twice) = Dashes in the given direction
Spacebar = Attack
S = Change between melee and ranged attacks
D = Brings up a defensive barrier
Z = Special attack
E = Special attack
A = Transform
1, 2, 3 = changes the size of your radar screen on the top right.

I recently found the game Flow. It's addictive and you can give it up whenever you want! I can't link to it myself, but you should be able to find it very quickly if you google for it.

I love freeware...heheh. I'll edit as I think of more.

-Rainbow Wars (A geometry Wars clone)
-1213 (a creepy platformer that feels like an older game but has a great story)
-Little Fighter 2 (the Super Smash Bros. of PC)
-Tribes (best free FPS out there, and perfect for jumping in and out quickly)
-Flamewar (the funniest forum spoof game ever, but super hard)

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
It turns out that today is opposite day, so all of what you have said is true, so you should probably just go.
