Blogging Software

I'm not looking for anything overly fancy, just if anyone has personal experience with using software, what would be some good source code to use. It's a vague question, but I don't know the specifics I want quite yet =(

Erm... WordPress is a relatively simple (and open source) blog system. In the realm of higher complexity, there's b2evolution. (I'm assuming this is along the lines of what you wanted.)

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I use simplePHPblog for mine. I searched for blog engines a couple of years back, and this turned out to be the one I liked (the blog in my profile). I've kept up the updates over the years as well as added my own little hacks to it now and then. It's simple, indeed.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Wordpress for sure, there are heaps of mods and skins (which are easy to install), but the software itself is very easy to use, and is updated frequently.
