Yamamanama, I just want to personally thank you for uploading Escape from Dragon House. It is so crazy and strange and I am completely in love with it.

Anyway, I've already uploaded one of the electro-hiphop albums I love so much and I'm going to be uploading more (along some other stuff I like). Hopefully you guys will enjoy it.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Wow, Nujabes is really good! I've only heard one of the singles so far but I'll be checking out more.

Just out of curiosity, is anyone interested in the albums I've posted up so far? If they are I can put them on the FTP or upload similar artists/albums.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I think people should maybe nominate albums that have been uploaded so far to be put into a running for an album of the month. I don't speak for everyone, but I haven't been able to listen to everything uploaded so far (though I do try). If everyone picked one (or two) album(s) they really liked, it would probably make it somewhat easier to choose one (since there are so many uploaded already).

Though, a torrent does make it easier to deal with...

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Oh, it's very good. It sounds a lot like Neutral Milk Hotel's In the Aeroplane Over the Sea or Architecture in Helsinki's In Case We Die, though there are some differences (it's a bit less psych/experimental than NMH and a bit more serious-sounding than AiH).

Just out of curiosity, what are people's opinions on music format? I've downloaded one or two albums so far in .WMA format, which is useless to me (and my Mac), though I have absentmindedly uploaded an album in .M4A (though it is more cross-platform than .WMA).

Anyone have specific qualms with certain formats? I can't take .WMA, and because of that I try to keep all my uploaded albums as .MP3s, but sometimes even I cannot help it.

I would like to second that thank to nabhan for all that A Silver Mt. Zion work. Unless he plans to upload more, I have one of their albums that he didn't upload (Born Into Trouble As The Sparks Fly Upward) along with two Explosions in the Sky albums, if people are interested in them.

Also, many thanks to Tawnee Stoner for that Plastilina Mosh album! I've been looking for them since the last GFFST. You have anything else by them?

I do believe the entire A Silver Mt. Zion discography is online as well. Enjoy!

Admiral Amara, your upload Tales from Topographic Oceans appears to have expired. I'm interested in hearing it; can you re-upload it?

Are we still planning to do the "album of the month" dealie? If we are we should get on it before we're too far into May.

I've been playing that Vector Lovers album for awhile now... it's great! Good music to do things to.

And thank you for the Plastilina Mosh! I will get to listening to that right away.

Ahh, now that I'm done with my schoolwork, I can start uploading again.

Someone requested some Belle & Sebastian, anyone else here interested in it?

I was speaking idiomatically.

In case you missed it, I already uploaded one of their albums here. I think it's their best work, personally. I'm thinking of uploading their older singles/EPs, for now.

For those of you who were asking for it, I finally posted those Belle & Sebastian albums I'd been talking about.

I think I'm going to upload some Stereolab next.

Encephalon, I downloaded Kaizers Orchestra's Ompa Til Du Dør and enjoyed it thoroughly, but in the meantime the other albums have gone offline. Can you possibly re-upload them? I'd really appreciate it.

Also, navyseals, your Prowla upload has made my week. Thanks!

I really hope everyone gives the Destroyer music a listen; I really, really enjoy his works and think more people need to be exposed to him. Even if it's just one album (even though all five are excellent).

I've noticed Megaupload doesn't delete a file until people stop using the link. I have a file that's worked for almost a month and a half, largely because it's linked to in my Facebook profile.

I'm not really big on uploading VGM, but I really enjoy Secret of Mana + and I don't think it always gets the attention it deserves.

On another note, to anyone who listened to the album Downtown - Downtown that was uploaded many months ago, does anyone have something similar to that? I'd really like to hear it.

Two big uploads, the first from me in a long while. The first is a series of Grandaddy albums; fans of previous albums I've uploaded will enjoy these a lot. Second is another series of albums by a post-rock band I only recently discovered, Under Byen. Anyone who liked the post-rock uploading binge that occurred awhile back will really enjoy this group.

That being said, if anyone has any albums from these two artists I didn't upload, could you please upload them? I would really, really like that.

Thank you for the Yo La Tengo Admiral Amara! I have three more of their albums I can upload, if people would like to see them.

I also have more Mono that hasn't been uploaded yet. I have "Walking cloud and deep red sky, Flag fluttered and the sun shined" and "You are There".

Dude, more YLT would be amazing. That's the only album of theirs that I own, and I really like it.

I've got both of those Mono albums, so if you want, I can upload Walking Could.... Or you could. Doesn't really much matter either way.
Ill take care of the YLT for now, if you have time you can upload the Mono stuff (if you don't I can upload it fairly easily, but maybe not for another couple of days).

Nice to see this get started up again after all the downtime. I uploaded some rock albums I've been enjoying a lot lately, all from Latin countries. I hope y'all enjoy them.
