It might have something to do with that. I recognized the addy because I grabbed a few albums the other day. XD Jam it back in, in the dark. |
If the Internet wasn't being such an asshole, I would totally rape that blog. Unfortunately at the moment I have to disable the LAN, enable it, and pray that I get decent bandwidth for a minute, just long enough to d/l one album. This is a fucking tech school yet our network is awful.

I reuploaded the Barky album by request...so if anyone didn't grab it before, the link is updated.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
It's so much easier to justify listening to pop rock rock when it's in a different language. =) I'm familiar with the Italian prog scene but had never heard anything else until now.
I'm digging the Black Angels too. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

Yeah, I was surprised it wasn't there.
It's funny--I never watch any of the music TV stations, but I flipped onto one the other day and caught the Amy Winehouse music video. I don't know if it was her or the song, but for some reason I left it on. XD Now if I only found my Zen I could go chill out and listen to the album. EDIT: All right, I had no idea anyone was making music like that these days. I love her voice and I love what she's doing with it! Most amazing jew boots

Wow, great upload. I had been meaning to check out Sleepy Time Gorilla Museum, but it totally slipped my mind.
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
Nice contribution, Moon. I'm especially enjoying That Fucking Tank.

Obscure Journey album up. 70s rock band doing orchestral Japanese movie soundtrack FTW.
What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
The Scandinavians put out some great stuff, especially on the Jazz front. Good post.
I'm gonna put a few things up over the next week...I'm feeling some Indie, some Hip Hop, maybe some Funk, and yes, New Wave. Be afraid. How ya doing, buddy? |
I think all that matters is that you got them up, even if you lost some brain tissue in the process.
Additional Spam: Supertramp, good stuff. I'm throwing up a Flaming Lips album. There's nowhere I can't reach.

Reason: This member got a little too post happy.

Interestingly enough, I tried to download Mirrored the other day and ended up with the EPs, which I had never managed to find before. I could've sworn I was downloading the new album though, so I'm not sure how I managed that.
Anyway, you just reminded me that I never put up that Volta Do Mar album. I've gotta get on that. >Good post, Servi. I'm not the biggest Zeppelin fan, so I never would've thought to check out Jones's solo stuff. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I would say yes, but you voted down Marvin Gaye. </semi-sarcasm>
EXPOSE US, for goodness' sake. That's the point. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
I would just like to reiterate that Jukka Eskola is awesome. =D I'm also really enjoying the John Paul Jones albums.
People need to post more shit in the other thread, myself included. Edit, two new albums up. Indie-slash-something. =p I was speaking idiomatically.

Cool. =D You wouldn't happen to have any of their older stuff, would you? I'm interested in hearing what their jazz phase was like. Even demonoid doesn't seem to have anything. Maybe I'll buy some stuff and upload it.

Damn, I bought Does right after I posted. XD But anything else would be fantastic! Let me know if you don't have the aforementioned album. The instrumental stuff is nice, but some of the jam stuff is sketchy.

I put up some hip-hop and indie/acoustic stuff. For the hip-hop fans, the kind of rap I'm into is stuff like MF Doom, The Roots, and Talb Kweli.
Jam it back in, in the dark. |
As long as you know what you want, it's not exactly rocket science to figure out how to access it. Then we just have to keep the MEC thread itself indexed.
Or maybe it is rocket science. XD I can't figure out some of the links for the new stuff. If they're all in the same format, it should be easy. =) There's nowhere I can't reach.

Wow, I can't believe I almost downloaded Age of Winters. It didn't occur to me what it was until I saw that you recommended the track "Freya", and I realized that I had already downloaded the album after playing Guitar Hero. Is it just me or is the game's cover of that song actually better than the real thing? XD
I'm so backed up with really taking the time to listen to some of the more recent additions...ugh. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |

Nova, Midlake is awesome. =O

Dude, keep it up, I'm digging Praful.

Well said.
And just when I was getting bored with guitar albums, Nanaman saves the day. It sounds like a combination of Jeff Back and Satch. Good stuff. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
Sure, just when I was finished going through all my recent downloads, some asshole puts up ten albums at once. =p It wouldn't be a problem if it was a bunch of crap, but most of it looks interesting. Damn you.
