Since I can't prop a post twice, I'll just do this instead. I think anyone who's into laid back folk music should go listen to the Moyshe McStiff & The Tartan Lancers Of The Sacred Heart album knkwzrd posted.
It's absolutely refreshing to listen to and it's got a cool medieval type groove going to it which is very nice. The instrumentation is also a bit out of the ordinary which helps to make it appealing. Truly worth a listen. Props once more to knk!!! Jam it back in, in the dark. Juggle dammit

I've been giving the Brecker Brother's album a listen and I'd like to urge everyone who's into Fusion Jazz to give it a listen, it's pretty awesome stuff. Will's analogy is pretty much right on the ball.
Also, to those of you who like the Mahavishnu Orchestra, The Lost Trident Sessions is IMO their best album, so look for it if you have a chance. If I were in Montreal, I'd up it but unfortunately I won't be there for another three months so that's not possible right now. Just thought I'd mention it since it's definitely worth a listen. There's nowhere I can't reach. Juggle dammit
