The Kingdom (2007)
So there's a new movie starring Jamie Foxx (not Miami Vice) coming out next year about a terrorist bombing in an American facility in the middle east.
IMDB entry. I really don't care much about it other than the fact that they're filming some sequences in Phoenix, which I think is pretty cool. They're using the Loop 202 for 3 weekends to film. I don't know if those scenes are going to be Phoenix in the movie, or if they're going to claim it's something else. Still cool that they're filming a movie here. The only other movies I can recall being filmed in Phoenix and the surrounding area is Bill and Ted's Excellent Journey, Psycho, Ninja III: The Domination. How ya doing, buddy? |
