My middle name is Olivia, after my great grandmother on my mother's side. I actually think it's quite beautiful, and sometimes I wish that it was my first name, since every other little girl seems to have my first name nowadays.

Just an unreleated comment to current discussion... I wonder how many people votes aren't accurate due to the question on the poll being the reverse of the question in the topic~.

I do and I don't.

David is a good name, and I always sign my name in print or in writing with my middle initial. I even use both my first and middle initials in my ligature and to sign it on my pieces of art.

However, the part I hate about it is that I'm named after my uncle. This was all up and fine with me until two years ago when I found out he was an adultering bastard.

Nah, Matthew sucks. It's too common and biblical.

I used to hate my first name (Loren), but I've learned to like it. It just sucks when I work with women named Laura. (Causes confusion sometimes.) lol

Buddies of mine call me Nate. Anyone else I don't know too well will call me Nathan. Platonic chick friends and black women upon finding out my middle name will call me Nathaniel Daniel. What's up with the rhyming combo moms and pops? That ain't cool.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I like my middle name, Christopher. It's why I picked "Cristobal" as my name in Spanish class (high school) several years ago. Cristobal was then a knickname for me outside of class, which was cool. All around a good sounding name that got me a little extra positive attention.

I had a friend whose name was Charles Edward. He went by Chase and nothing else; his given names would always turn his face beet red. That was a long time ago. I love people who are embarrassed by their names.

Edit: Nathaniel Daniel is too cool!

It's Mikael, and I rather like it. I wish my parents would've picked it as my first name instead.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I really hate my first name, and while my middle name is fine with me, I simply take the first letter of it and go by "J". I happen to like that letter; it's artistic, in a way.

Since I never use my middle name in any way, I don't really care. My middle name is my father's first name.

My middle name's Weiland, and it's my favorite part of my name. It's my dad's middle name and my grandmother's maiden name.

My middle name is simply my Mandarin name "romanized", I should say. It doesn't make sense if you try to read it out loud, but if you hear me say it first, another obstacle is the tones. But, it's beautiful written out, so I like it.

I liked how my second middle name (which was Nunez) was scrapped when my name was changed after my folks got married some 17 years ago, however, however, my other middle name (Michael) is more preferable than say....my first name (which I use when I am credited for stuff and ect).

My middle name is pretty awesome considering the history. Basically, my grandfather side has a czech last name which my mother had as her last name, and if you convert it to english, its my middle name (the spelling is this reason). And my mother gave it to me in form of english convert and made it somewhat synonymous with my first. The name? Its Starr. Its a great name to name a lot of things, land or boat or a company or whatsoever.
