i started with this mugen thing just a few days ago and i want to know how to make the stages music loop??

I also wants to ask you guys (and girls...) if you know where can i find the char ken from street fighter alpha 3. i seen kens with that name but they aren't from the alpha 3. i get the ryu from alpha 3 here hxxp://gcnmario2.free.fr/ , now i need the ken

Hey, I have a question about the EVE screenpack. I installed it and it works fine, and all my OLD characters that I had before I installed the screenpack, when I put them in the screenpack they show up just fine. But any new characters that I download and put in do not show up. Anyone else ever have this problem?

Yea there are some kinda cheap tricks in mugen but there are also some commands that you can use in-game or during watch mode.

Like most people dont get to fight who they want unless it comes up in arcade. But by hitting ctrl+1 in watch mode you take control of the first fighter and can fight whoever you chose as your opponent.

Then theres everyones personal favorite just hitting f1 to kill there opponent.

read up in the docs.... it has ALL the commands... and to change from x to a.... use fighter factory

hey, i am wondering what type of controllers you guys are using to play or if you could let me know a good playstation of xbox adapter... i have heard many are crappy and mess up if you hit 2 buttons at once.... I have been using a horrible horrible axis pad... yes, pathetic i know.....

i just bought a logitech pad and had to get it replaced cause i played it to much and with so many emotional moments i had to get a new one but i think logitech does a good job so i recommend them.

=D you asked for it.... i plan on buying an arcade cabinet, reinstalling XP on its OS, reconfiguring the joypads.... and making MUGEN start up autmatically... 2 GB of RAM....

Thats quite the plan and its gonna cost a lot to get an arcade cabinent and configure it to play mugen but if it does work that would be awesome.

Hi guys, I have a problem with my winmugen. Even when I use the default version (only with kung fu man), when I go full screen my screen starts flashing black like crazy, but not even one little black flash in windowed mode, and it isn't Direct x mode because I have tried them all without success, PLEASE HELP.

Hi I'm new to these boards and Character creation. I want to remake Q-Bee (a cute deadly girl.) and Dilbert. (Yes. THE Dilbert) I need some help with Fighter Factory. How can I save the sprites on the SFF file. I always tell it to save the sprites on the file but it won't appear. Major Confusion.

To save changes to the whole SFF file press the 4th button in the sprites options, but if you want to save a single sprite (just one picture) you should select the 3rd option in the sprites section, by default it saves it as PCX, but you can choose from PCS, BMP, GIF and JPG (I edited a Guilty Gear chipp using BMPs).

Regarding to my question above, do you have any idea of how to solve that problem?

use doubleres 4 or 3 and that should sort out your problem or you adjusted the screen so that its bigger then your monitor.

I tried that a lot of times but it didn't work and the resolution for mugen that I use is 640 x 480, and my desktop resolution is 1024 x 768, I don't know what to do, I've searched almost every mugen site of questions and answers and no one has this issue. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

yep.. it's gonna be awesome. that's my plan too, maybe not to buy a cabinet, but i know who can build one for me.

now, this is a little of topic, but may be of interest here.

i went to the arcades with my cousin, and i saw 2 cabinets with mugen games. YES, mugen games (well, actually the same game).
i'm pretty sure they're using a modded Xbox to play it, and i have to say that, these guys really don't care about quality, they just want some money.
The game has Duracelleurs screenpack (the one with about 500 slots), uggly lifebars (and i really mean it), cheap chars, buggy chars, etc., and i really felt sad about it, because this way, people will never know the REAL potential of mugen, the kidds playing were saying things like "ahh, this game sucks... that character is shit" and they don't understand that, the guy who built the game is who really sucks and is a piece of shit.

anyways, as i said, maybe this is offtopic, but is something i wanted to say, as we speak about cabinets...

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Gallup your right. Those people who build really shitty versions of mugen and then try to pwn them off just insult mugen and all the people who work hard to make it good. If you or sky ryder can get a good cabinent goin you should try and get it into an arcade and show people how sweet mugen really is. If you need any help getting mugen to work in the cabinent or need something else for mugen ask and i can try to get it for you.

Pablos im talking about the screen size not your resolution man cause if you make your screen size bigger then the monitor it will flash back at you like that.
