... I use MediaFire

Uploading sites are used non-stop on forums, and recently I've seen nearly everyone using sendspace and rapidshare, and I'm wondering why. MediaFire lets you download multiple files at once, which is a huge benefit in my opinion. I can't tell you how many times I've been annoyed because rapidshare would only let me download 1 disc every 3 hours of a 9 disc set. Why don't more people use MediaFire? Is there something I'm missing? Reply back, vote, tell me what you use and why!

I found a list of upload services all charted out

Savefile's what I use to upload stuff, since I find that it's easier and that I'm too lazy to investigate others. Rapidshit is just terrible and I don't know why people even bother with it anymore.

Sendspace and Mediafire are my choice. I used to use Megaupload before they royally fagged it up early this year (was it last year? can't remember).

I should have put megaupload in the poll... silly me. I don't know how or if you can edit polls. Mod?

SendSpace. It may not be the best, but it's damn convenient and accessible. And it's free! I'll upgrade my account one of these days; links that don't expire do sound very appealing.

I rarely upload stuff nowadays compared to before, but when I do I use Sendspace. Of course Mediafire is superior, but I get horrible upload speeds from it and my uploads often fail, which is strange since I download from it just fine.

Another great one I see used a lot on a Russian board but rarely anywhere else is Axifile. Multi downloads and all, as well.

Mediafire. As soon as I saw a file linked there, I have never gone back. Plus, I've noticed that other providers (Megaupload and Rapidshare are big offenders) tend to have horrible connections. I hate downloading a 50mb file only for it to get cut off at 95% and I have to wait to download it do to 'exceeding my limits'.

I used to use SendSpace every once in awhile, but that was mostly before I found out about Mediafire.

I used to use MegaUpload a lot. But then I discovered MediaFire, and now I'm sticking with that.

I have almost never managed to download anything from Rapidshare, Sendspace and Megaupload.

In contrast, Mediafire works wonderfully.

Mediafire, Sendspace, Megaupload are the three major ones I use.

I only use Megaupload for large zipped files (Since it has a 500MB cap as opposed to 100MB of SS/MF).

Sendspace and Mediafire are awesome in their own ways though. Yes, definetly more people should use Mediafire if anything.

Sendspace - I've got a SendSpace Lite account and I like seeing how many downloads an uploaded file receives. Downloading is fairly easy and I use the SendSpace Wizard for uploading files - useful because you can resume broken uploads and you don't have to start everything manually; the Wizard will upload one file, then proceed to upload the next one, and so forth.

SendSpace is also the site where the least problems are reported from people I know down in the file-sharing hoard~

I voted for "Other", but someone changed the poll and now my vote is gone.

If I have to upload something to an uploading site, I use something like massmirror.com or xirror.com, which upload your file to a number of different hosting sites and lets the downloader choose whichever site is fastest for them. I really have no idea why everyone doesn't use this.

Haven't used it for a while, but I liked Sendspaces convenience. You didn't have to do one of those annoying 'type what you see' bot checks - sometimes you get a really shit one of those and you're there squinting your eyes and turning your head at funny angles trying to work out what the characters are supposed to be.

On the other hand, I think Megaupload keep inactive files up for longer.

But I'll be sure to check MediaFire the next time I need one of these things.

I use Sharebee. It uploads to four or five different sites at once.

Other.

If I have to upload something I'll upload it to my friend's practically limitless webserver and link to direct downloads. Not this publicly shared crap.

How ya doing, buddy?

I use Megaupload, only because of the 200kb/s upload I somehow obtain. And that I can get a free (temp) premium account, so combined downloads, I download sometimes a max of at least 700kb/s.
