Okay, so at the risk of being torn asunder by the true Metal fans, I didn't really get into this genre of music until I saw Metalocalypse. Can anyone recommend a few bands that Dethklok may have been influenced by?
Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Their Myspace page has a few of their songs in it. Also, if you've played Guitar Hero 2, their song Thunderhorse is on it.

Any Dethklok fans make it to the show in Vegas last night? They were there with Soylent Green and Chimaira. It was ridiculously awesome. They had videos up on all the screens made for each song, Murmaider and Thunderhorse probably being the best ones. After they played Thunderhorse as their "last song," they came back a few minutes later and did Go Into the Water and Fansong for the encore. Fucking amazing.
