It's coming back! According to Billy West, they signed on for 26 more episodes for TV which will shortly go into production!

HELL. YES.
Honestly? Thats awesome! I loved Futurama, it was well better than The Simpsons! Something else to look forward to now! ^____^ I'm actually all happy now!

I agree, and people still hurl stones at me for it. Glad there's another one out there who shares my opinion on this brilliant show!

I like Futurama more but respect Simpsons more. There are MANY other people out there who feel the same as you.

I LOVE that this series is finally returning! It's like reading Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy while watching the Simpsons. Most of the best jokes are subtle, or are ads in the background.
I hate Fox so much, but at least they're willing to admit when they made a mistake.
I couldn't stand it when they kept moving their time slot. I hardly knew when it was on!

Yeah, but I wish they would have never made the mistake in the first place. And no matter how many mistakes they try to fix, they still alot more to make up for that they never will.

Sadly, I could never understand the Simpsons. It...never made me laugh. I'm guessing because I started watching it several years ago, but yeah.

I love Futurama and The Simpsons. The most enteresting person to me on Futurama would have to be that strange professor and the most unusual person on The Simpsons is that crazy lady that flings live cats. Who are your favorite characters?

With Zoidberg becoming poor, depressed, hungry, single.....what's going to happen next?

He's getting more and more pathetic!

I never did like Zoidberg, never really found him funny, but the show otherwise is awesome.

So 26 Episodes would make a season. I guess they'll make more depending on the viewer turnout. Let's hope Fox doesn't shithole it by marketing it badly, or pulling a Family Guy by moving it around 10 billion times in the timeslots.

IIRC it just got too expensive for each episode, but if thats also how it was killed off, then I doubley hope they don't do that.

Zoidberg is my hero, he's just so craptacular. I have the DVDs and the humour in them just never gets old. I just can't say that about the Simpsons, especially lately, even though there are still pearls to be found in just about every season.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

This is definitely good news, everyone! Can't wait for this show to come back. It's one of the few domestic shows I've bothered to collect on DVD, and I have to admit I did so partially in the hopes that my dollars would help to bring it back to the airwaves.

The funny thing is, I didn't really appreciate the show until after it went into syndicated reruns. Anymore though, I much prefer it to both Family Guy and The Simpsons. I'll be sure to faithfully catch each new episode that airs, and tell my friends to do so as well.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

The 7PM sunday time-slot guaranteed that it would be preempted every football sunday.

"You still have Zoidberg...you've all always had Zoidberg!"

Haha, I get my daily fill from Adult Swim everyday, glad to see that there could be a return to new episodes in the near future.

It's all about DVD sales people, we just need to do this with Arrested Development now.

My favorite character was definately Fry. He had some of the best and funniest lines.

Umbriel: They have sea lions on the land?
Fry: Yep, we call em... land sea lions
Fry: I tame them =)

His expression and his subtle smile while saying those lines were priceless

Also, in the Farnsworth Parabox episode (the one with the parallel universes in boxes), Fry and Leela were talking to their alternate selves and their alternates were saying how funny Leela's excuses were to turn down Fry's attempts at a date. And Fry says something like, "Yeah. Funny. Right Leela? ha ha ha ha ha (in a sarcastic way)."

Priceless.

Ah, I knew it was too good to be true. Hopefully those DVDs will still come to fruition, and perhaps if they sell well enough, we'll get some new episodes yet...

How ya doing, buddy?
