Album Comment Rules: Please Read Before Posting
Please Read Before Posting
Want to make this subforum awesome? Here's a few pointers to get you started: 1. Thread format: One album per thread (multiple disc sets or additional bonus CDs may be reviewed as one unit). The thread title should contain only the full name of the album, followed by the catalogue number in brackets. If there are multiple catalogue numbers, e.g. due to reprints or domestic releases, just choose the earliest one (listing multiple numbers is optional). Game rips should be denoted by putting "Game Rip" at end of the game's title. It is also encouraged to include the name of the system the game was released for. An example:
There are a number of resources where you can obtain catalogue numbers. Here's a partial list: Game Music Revolution Chudah's Corner CDJapan Neowing (Japanese) If all of this stuff flies past your head, don't worry, staff will edit your thread titles accordingly. 2. All game music-RELATED albums are allowed. You can create reviews for original soundtracks, arranged soundtracks, singles, and even drama albums (since most of them contain songs and instrumental music as well). Game rips, as mentioned above, are also perfectly acceptable. 3. Albums must be officially released. Do not start threads for leaked album rips or bootlegs. However, I will hold exception for any case wherein there is no announced release date for such an album. 4. Threads can be rated. Feel free to rate the albums being discussed according to your preference. 5. Make competent reviews and comments. Off-topic posts and one-liner reviews like "great" or "awesome" will not be tolerated. The purpose of this subforum is to encourage thoughtful discussion and appraisals, and hopefully introduce members to a diverse, wider range of video game music. Posts will be deleted if they are not up to the forum standards and/or they are not worthwhile to the discussion. If you want to know why one of your posts got deleted, PM a staff member (such as myself). Thanks to Bigblah for the thread template. ^_^ Most amazing jew boots

6. No filesharing. Do not distribute/request files directly in this forum. The Request and My Stuff forums are there for a reason. If you must distribute the files with your review, link to a thread started in the appropriate forum.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
