Sometimes I think there are too many languages I want to learn. I would like to speak Greek, Russian, Spanish and Japanese.
I already speak English (oh really? ), Serbian, German, a bit French and I also know some things in Albanian.

Japanese, Chinese, Korean, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Latin. Well, at least 4 of them have a very similar base, one of them IS the base lol.

I think before you start studying a language, you should at least try it a bit.

Deutsch zum Beispiel ist eine ziemlich einfache Sprache, da sie dem Englischen etwas ähnelt. Sollte kein Problem sein!

Spoiler:
German for example is a pretty simple language, because it is a bit similar to English. Should not be a problem.

Français est une langue très difficile! Elle a un très illogique grammaire pour moi!:aargh:

Spoiler:
French is a very hard language! It has for me a very illogical grammar!:aargh:

Ali naj bolji jezik u cijelum svetu je Srpski! Dorbro, jeste malo težak, ali zato ga pričaju samo pametni i kultivirani ljudi. Učite Srpski!

Spoiler:
But the best language in the entire world is Serbian! Okay, it is a bit hard, but for that, only the educated and the cultivated people are speaking it. Learn Serbian!

I've really wanted to seriously study German, but I'm not sure where to start. I already speak decent Spanish, and wouldn't mind throwing another language in there, especially since I might end up spending a few years in Germany at some point.

Right now, I'm in the process of learning Russian and Japanese. I already speak fluent English, Swedish, German and Serbian, so after - hopefully - learning Russian and Japanese, I'll have a decent collection of languages in my trunk.

EDIT: And I definitely agree with AlogiA, Serbian is a difficult language to master, but as a language it's very rich and interesting.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I have a few Klingon dictionaries and have been studying off and on for the past few years. I'd like to be able to speak it fluently, but just like highschool spanish class: laziness prevailes. I'd like to learn Japanese and some Irish or Scottish Goidelic/Gaelic.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I actually would love to study Japanese, Latin and German, though the first two are quite rare to, at least in my grounds. Japanese is because of anime mainly, and latin was something that got my attention while reading some books; tried to learn it with some books, but it was quite hard so dropped it, also had to do different things around.

Hopefully there's a chance to study these in the future.

I wish I continued French in highschool. I stopped after Grade 10 and really regret it. I think I'll just start self-studying, but it's so hard to find places and people to practice on. Ha ha!

I also want to learn Latin, Japanese, Tagalog (no one mentioned this...mwa ha ha!!), Spanish and Arabic. Hey, I can dream, though I'd like to be at least tri-lingual by the time I die! Ha ha!

I grew up learning both English and Spanish, studied French for three years in middle school, and am now in my 2nd year of studying Latin. I was going to take German next year, but the only German teacher got fired or some shit so my damn school just took it off the program. So I guess I'd like to learn German, everyone always says that it's super easy to learn.

Mandarin, Thai, Aramaic, German, and Gaelic. Finding the time to actually devote study to any of these languages is my problem...

I did French in high school, but in my whole time in college, I never took a language course. I liked French and somewhat wished I continued on with it. Whatever.

I also wanted to study Japanese, since I'm a fanboy. I also wanted to study Chinese, since I have so many Chinese friends in the university. I also wanted to study Tagalog (Filipino), since I'm Filipino and can't speak the language. I couldn't even get into Japanese or Chinese courses because they were time-demanding courses that were always scheduled everyday in such a way that I would not be able to take my engineering requirements/electives. So those courses never happened. Maybe later in life.

I was speaking idiomatically.

What's that one language the main theme of Legend of Mana is sung in? Swedish? Whatever it is it's a beautiful, eloquent language... I think it'd be fun to learn that someday. Maybe even just a couple of words. ^_^

It is not THAT hard if you grow up with this language. Serbian has a similar structure like Hungarian or Greek and is very closely related to Bulgarian, Russian and other Slavonic languages. But if you 've been growing up with German, English and some other "simple" languages, Serbian can be really desperating to learn. Most of the Serbs, Croats and Bosnians I know (which also includes me) have much problems in learning French, since in the Serbian language you speak the words like they are written what you really cant't say of French.

I speak Japanese, German and Spanish sufficiently. I'm still studying for proficiency. Beyond the foreign, I know English on an upper-middle grade of Master Level. Not important or impressive until you find yourself in an IQ society. Waste of most peoples' time.
