Bleach DS (and Bleach DS 2nd news)
has anyone played this? reviews says that is the best 2D fighting game on DS, i always thinking that the game got the feeling of the old but awesome Yu Yu Hakusho fighting game from Genesis/Megadrive (made it Treasure too), i wonder if this is "import friendly", i know some Japanese but sure a lot of kanji scares me. I remember that Nintendo releases the game with Treasure the same day that the Nintendo DS Lite was released in Japan and it was a huge success.
And well, its seems that Treasure will release Bleach DS 2nd for the DS on this year, as acording to this Famitsu news. So, this is just to be at least good (i love Treasure games anyway, so i got a lot of faith on it) Jam it back in, in the dark. |
I bought the game last May, and I love it. I used to play a lot more 2D fighters, and even though I haven't in a long time before Bleach, I found the game immensly enjoyable. I know absolutely no Japanese, and thus I needed a walkthrough for the story mode, but other than that, its really import friendly.
The multiplayer is great too. You can play the full game, with every character (and there is a lot) on download or multicard play, and the experience is completely lag free. The only complaint is that the download times on single card are absolutely horrid (setting up the connection can take 10 minutes). Trust me, this game is a buy. Its extremely varied in options, well polished, and has great and addicting gameplay. One of my friends bought this game immediately after playing my copy. - WraithTwo - There's nowhere I can't reach. |
The game's really great and definately fun to play. I imported it about a month ago. Just kept playing it straight, unlocked all the characters through story mode (unique for each character that can do it.) It's even cooler if you're familiar with the anime/manga it comes from, but if not it's still a very enjoyable GGX-esque fighting game
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
I found this game to have a surprising amount of depth and loved it. The only trouble I had with it was that story mode was a complete mystery unless you played through with a faq (it had objectives that were in Japanese).
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
just a question, is there any information regarding its composer?
the Bleach in PS2 has good musics (contrary to Bleach Gamecube) I would like to know whether the composer working in the DS title is the same person as the PS2 version. I was speaking idiomatically.
|
Well, I'm not sure, but I don't think so. I think it's by someone named NAN (or something like that) from Treasure, so, unless the PS2 game was by Treasure, I think its safe to say that the music composers are different. But I'm not sure though, so yeah...
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
Bleach DS is definitely the best fighting game on the system by a mile. The game is real easy to pickup, and a surprising amount of depth once you really get into it. This is a must for fans of the anime, as it does a great job of giving the characters the same moves as those seen in the manga/show.
There are some obvious balance issues here and there, but here's hoping that the sequel fixes things up. FELIPE NO |
