Fiddlegoof, you rock on telling me how the Canucks won it. Thank God! I missed all the NHL games tonight.... Hopefully, I will get the chance to watch tomorrow. I LOVE how the Rangers rocked the asses off Atlanta... Two teams I hate the most, Atlanta and Nashville... I mean, terrible and disrespectful teams... The Hometown (Rangers) must have LOVED watching the game... 7-0 is awesome!

Too bad Pittsburgh isn't going to make it.... Oh well... maybe its Ottawa's time after all. But, its playoff hockey, so you never know.

Yeah, that was grade A bullcrap, Vivi. Complete embellishment by the Sabre.
Get over it. Every team benefits from a questionable referee call now and then. Consider it delayed justice for some of the shit the Islander skaters got away with prior. If Buffalo had been penalized similarly at that point in the game, you'd be praising the referees on their willingness to make gutsy calls during the playoffs. So don't feed us this hypocritical line of bullshit. No player is a saint on the ice.

You act as if Buffalo's never, ever been screwed by a bad decision. I mean, we certainly never lost the Stanley Cup finals due to a questionable goal. No, sir.

How ya doing, buddy?

I really don't think that was what he was aiming after. Its just kind of hard to swallow something that the other player didn't even do, and the ref was right there. If a referee doesn't make a decision on a call that was obvious then yeah, it was the ref's choice and was a mistake, but something that was totally uncalled for at pretty much every angle, with a minute to go, and the team down by one?... Hmmm.... then I wonder....

Update:

I updated the Ranger versus Thrashers picks. Congrats to The Dopefish for getting full points! When each series is done, I will cross out who didn't get any points. At the end of the round, I will tally up the points and have the current rankings posted.

for you Ducks or Wild fans... you might catch a glimpse of me sitting a few rows up behind the Ducks bench tonight... wearing my lovely Ducks jersey. ^_~
Was able to score one of the two tickets for tonight's game from the boss... and would love to be there for at least one game in the post-season.

Here it is, boy's. Hopefully, the final game of the Dallas/Vancouver series is tonight at 7:00 p.m. (for us westerners). I'm predicting a Canuck win, considering they've got a 3-1 stranglehold on the Stars, and they've got a rowdy home crowd behind them. It's hard to be certain though, considering that the Stars will be playing their asses off in order to keep the series tight. Go 'Nucks Go!

TO PITTSBURGH FANS:

Don't worry about this season... your best years are yet to come. You just have to wait for it like us Wings fans did in the early 90's. When it finally comes it's going to be the best excitement in your sports history like it was in ours.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

All in all though what a terrific season. I never expected the Pens to go this far. I dont think anyone did. The Pens are just way too young yet. I am willing to bet in 2 years they will be one hell of a team. It's just not their time right now. However this year made me proud to be a Pens fan once again. Congrats to the Senators and good luck the rest of the way.

On the plus side, the Pens got some nice playoff experience and are definitely moving in a great direction. They moved along really fast this year, and I look forward to seeing how these guys progress through the years.

Oh yeahs, got Game 6 tickets for the Lightning/Devils on Sunday.

great game for Anaheim as we beat Minnesota 3-1... the crowd was insane tonight... and even an odd appearance by Snoop Dogg (I have photos of him which I'll post later after I've gotten some sleep) at the game with his overly huge (huge like xbox) bodyguard...

Now we await who we are to take on in the 2nd round...

Updated the picks. Looks like The Dopefish is going to dominant this round. As long as the other games turn out in favour. I think the call on the Rangers in 4 will help out.

Oh god, Red Wings lost again. I hope they stop the bleeding and turn things around back at home. I don't want to see another first round loss.

I'd trade it all for a Penguins series win.

Ugh. I was out at the bar getting hammered during that final Wild vs. Ducks game. When I woke up the next morning I was surprised I didn't have a hangover. Then I saw the score of the game. Instantly got a headache. Fucking Ducks.

Detroit's got the game won, but things are starting to get a bit out of hand. Kipursoff got pulled, and McLennan came in and picked up 17 penalty minutes within 18 seconds.

And it's over, 5-1. A lot of penalties down the stretch, there could be some serious battling next game.

Damn it! The Canucks just can't finish the jorb. Maybe Vingeault gave them a decent motivational speech and they'll be able to finish off this series tonight in Vancouver.

Additional Spam:
They did it! Next stop Anaheim, bitches!

Anaheim will be a tough challenge for the Canucks. It cannot feel good to almost blow a 3-1 lead. Anaheim also took the season series 3-1 and that one loss was in OT. I'll give the Canucks this though - Luongo is definitely better than Bryzgalov and their scoring is more spread out so if one line doesn't get it done, another line probably will.

Don't forget that Anaheim still has Giguere as a second option, who isn't too shabby either.

One thing's for sure, the 'Nucks have got to step it up a notch when it comes to finishing games off. Too many close calls, and leads blown in the third period for my liking.

If Luongo's healthy, Mitchell does a good job checking Selanne, and Naslund actually does something, they're home free.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
