Yeah, I'll join in the crowd and say the trailer was amazing. The music was insanely over the top, but in a good way.

And even though Snake (and FF) debuted on Nintendo, they also said they were talking with other 3rd party companies. At this point, there isn't anyone they could put in that will surprise me.

It's pretty sad that for over a decade, people begged for the return of Kid Icarus, but when he finally arrives, everyone is too busy gushing over Snake.

Anyway, the 2007 release date is very sad, because if this was a launch title, I would seriously buy a Wii before a PS3.

Actually, I take it back, I want Sephiroth in, just to watch the collective hilarity of fanboys explode into a euphoric joy at the sight of Snake vs Sephiroth.

If it turns out they're going to let fans submit characters they want to appear, then I've already got a list going on in my head. I'm thinking the biggest legends in gaming history should appear. Mega Man (the original, even though I love X), Simon Belmont, Sonic, and so on.

8 pages, and I can't believe no one has suggested the one character who would be PERFECT for this game. In fact, if I had the chance, I would probably vote for him above anyone else, if it increases his odds of appearing.

In Japan he's a sensation. Even has his own comic strip in Japan's funnies. They even had a contest where Kindergarteners were allowed to draw up a monster to be put in one of the games. It would increase his american prescence if anything else.

The only thing about Snake's prescence that bugs me is when people praise Nintendo for being brilliant for including him, when in fact it was Kojima who begged for Snake to be put in. If anyone needs all the praise or hate, it's him.

Aren't you supposed to type up a reason why you'd want x character in though? Hopefully not, as I'd like to submit a character or two in the japanese site. It still isn't known if they'll make an english version of the site.

I'm still thinking what song I would like to vote on. Maybe an orchestral version of the Super Mario 2 theme (last game only had the original version).

Yes, yes, YES. That was the same song I was thinking of, but I never knew the name. That HAS to be the theme for Meta Knight's stage. Anything else would be a horrible FAILiure.

Also, Meta Knight's end-theme should be the end-theme for that Halberd game.

Man, Meta Knight was cool in the game. Why the hell did they make him a good guy in the anime? A SPANISH good guy, at that?

Even though my experience with Kirby games is limited (Superstar and the Crystal Shards), from what I could see, the rivalry between Meta Knight and Kirby was personal. It looked like he built the Halberd just so he could get revenge on Kirby ("Time to die, Kirby!"). The Meta Knight in the anime (based on a few episodes I saw before I gave up on the series) spends more time helping Kirby, and it was even hinting that he and Kirby were the same race (this part is possible, since a brief look at him without the mask shows him looking like a blue Kirby).

Wow, I'm surprised; not a single FF character in that list. Still, very glad Megaman is getting the top vote, but Nintendo better not mess it up and use the lame variants like Battle Network Megaman. Original, goddamn you!

EDIT: Hmm, according to Gamefaqs, these are characters that the creator is considering to use in the game, and not the most voted characters.
