I did it. Today I finally got my Sawbones Shirt.

I now have every shirt in the game outside of a bop one from an Alliance quest.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

INCORRECT.

Just pull a couple of the residents and have them kill you right by the gate and you can res on the other side. You can even walk back out of the gate... it's sort of like it disappears if you go inside while alive.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Yeah, I just can't imagine how someone could make a guild on a pvp (aka ASSHOLE) server, then expect the OPPOSING FACTION to give a flying fuck about your dying member.

If I were a rogue, I would've shanked the shit out of that priest too. However, I'm not alliance, so I do have some disdain for the perpetrators already, but not for the outrageous reasons everybody else does.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Yeah, Hyjal just had their first Kalimdor's Revenge drop. Weird, too, since we have had guilds killing those guys for some time.

The only pieces of Nightslayer worth bothering with are the Chest, Pants, Cover, and shoulders. The gloves are ECLIPSED by the Blooddrenched Grips from ZG, and the bracers are still beat by Bracers of the Eclipse from DM unless you are hurting for stamina. I guess the boots are okay if you don't pvp, but if you do, just get the Defiler's/League of Arathor boots. They even come with a run speed increase.

They are the Eredar. You can go "Durr but they're called Draenei," but shut the hell up. They CALLED THEMSELVES the Draenei. Like the remaining high elves called THEMSELVES blood elves. They are still high elves. Draenei are still Eredar, just uncorrupted Eredar. So you can call them Eredar and not be wrong.

Today I went to Molten Core with a friend's guild on my warrior (Sword spec, Mortal Strike, etc). I was the only DPS warrior, so she assured me that if an Obsidian Edged Blade dropped, I'd get it.

Anyway. Magmadar goes down, and lo and behold an OEB drops. What happens then is that I am told that I need to quit my guild and join theirs if I wanted it. I tell them "Well, I can talk to them about that and see what I can do" since I was on my alt, and could consider it. But no, they wanted me in their guild before the ML would give me the sword, so I told them "I can't just quit out of nowhere," and they gave it to main tank (Who is a High Warlord).

Regardless, I told them all to get fucked and left. Hyjal has some of the biggest douches in the universe on it, I swear.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I felt a little better. Today I was in the STV arena at the 3am chest drop and my friend and I killed FOUR members of that guild and then took the chest. Recklessness for the win.

I utterly despise my guild and their ridiculously shitty loot system.

I just lost a Gutgore Ripper to a rogue on their first MC run today, for the FOURTH FUCKING TIME. /random is not a fucking loot system, it's throwing good gear into the god damned trash can.

So including the incident with the OEB, I've been fucked out of an MC weapon five times. Looks like I'm stuck with my Lobotomizer/Darkstone Claymore for a while still.

DKP is the fairest system there is, and I'll tell you why.

If someone has more DKP then you, there's a reason for that. They put in their time. They earned it. What's not "FAIR" is to let someone who JUST SHOWED UP act like they put in the time and effort wiping to these bosses repeatedly and get claims on the loot. If they don't raid enough to get DKP, then what's the problem? Eventually the people who earned it will have gotten the shit they want and they can finally get things.

You reward hard work. Showing up when a boss is on farm doesn't entitle you to shit, in my opinion. We just recently downed Onyxia. It was like pulling TEETH trying to get people to come. All the priests would mysteriously vanish when it came time for the actual raid. Now that we got her down, sign-ups fill up in a couple hours. These are the kinds of people you get surrounded with in World of Warcraft, and the exact reason why dkp is the most "fair" system there is.

I was speaking idiomatically.

You pretty much called it. If I were anybody else but one of the most disposable classes in the game, maybe I could have some leverage. But they'd sooner get some noob rogue off the streets of Orgrimmar than submit to one person's threats.

Either way, I am looking for a new guild. I am tired of this crap.

Maybe it's just my server but lately it's been awesome to be a rogue.
I'm actually the new rogue class leader, but still. Just because I am a class leader, top DPS charts, and am liked by pretty much everybody in the guild, doesn't mean they'll do anything to help me out. And THAT is the worst thing about it. When I got that Gutgore taken from me on the last run, the GM's wife whispers me going "We'll get you one."

Oh? Really? How about the last three, you moron?

The thing that keeps me leaving is that I just have an emotional attachment with some of the people in the guild. A lot of them are very nice, and people that I coincidentally LEVELED with when I made my shaman over a year ago. People I pvp'd with all the way from 10-60, and got to know. I WISH I was cold enough to just ditch a guild when the loot wasn't satisfying, but I am sadly not that kind of woman.

My guild does it this way.

Members and above get loot first, if there is more then one then you roll for it. Anyone below members get it next but alts get loot LAST. Cause thier alts.

Loot is mostly merit as well. So in reality, some loot is given up based on going out the most.
I wish it was this way in our guild, but sadly it is not. It was said to me quite plainly that if a person was there to kill a boss, they are entitled to the loot. Doesn't matter if they aren't in our guild, on their first run, whatever, and THAT is a shitty system.

The things that are required aren't even items that are hard to get (at least they shouldn't be) for guilds that would be running Naxxramas. Fuck those hardcore raiders and their bullshit.
