Meh, as I expected, there's nothing I want for September. I'd get Harvest Moon DS, but I'm waiting for the girl's version to come out. That's good though, since there's two I want in October.

NHL 2007. I cannot WAIT.

Finally I get to play a hockey game where I can do something else besides one timers. And the puck isn't a magnet that just sticks to players anymore! or at least that's what they claim

Man I hope it's as good as i'm thinking it's gonna be.

Hello

This will be well my first game I've ever preordered, and I might even consider getting the walkthrough guide just because. It's almost like the half -way point between the waiting period now and FFXII, but this isn't just any ordinary substitute RPG to kill time, people.

I'm getting the Mario Hoops game as soon as possible. Curiosity has driven me to this game more than anything. Square and basketball go together like... salt and jelly.
My dream team of Wario, Yoshi, and Black Mage can finally become a reality!

those are all the game that I'm interested in this month, but my main focus is Valkyrie Profile:Silmeria and Okami, I'll be sure to buy those two games and locoroco too, I'll probably take it.

Mario hoops 3on3 really interess me but I'm not sure if I'll buy it, at least probably not at the release date. Oh and why not as a birthday present, it will be release the day of my Birthday XD

Supernova will all depend on the music list, if I like it I'll probably take it but I'll wait, I need 2 new gamepads before this... I'll try to take a "bundle" off ebay if it's not overpriced...

Yakuza and Okami are all that matters for me with me being more pumped for the former given the rave reviews and impressions for the Japanese version and apparently a solid localisation effort by Sega for the US release.

To top it off Sega just announced that Yakuza is getting a sequel due out in Japan this December.

Metal Slug 6 (import)
Okami
Contact
Dragon Quest: Rocket Slime

It's rare that there's more than a single game each month worth buying. September kicks ass.

DDR Supernova might be worth getting if all the songs are actually on sync. The arcade machine was really bad in that regard, and that'd be something that would bother me a lot if not fixed.

PS2

September 5, 2006 Spy Hunter: Nowhere to Run
September 12, 2006 Rule of Rose
September 19, 2006 Okami
September 26, 2006 Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria

Okami and VP are no brainers that I've PO'd already, and Rule of Rose looks interesting. It's Atlus so it automatically makes me curious. And I enjoyed the last two PS2 SPyhunters (although the first one was better), so let's see how this one turns out.

GAMECUBE

September 25, 2006 Baten Kaitos Origins

How ocme no one else is going to get this? The first one RULED. A LOT. Come on here guys.

XBOX

WOW NOTHING.

Nintendo DS

September 11, 2006 Mario Hoops 3-on-3
September 12, 2006 Harvest Moon DS
September 12, 2006 Mega Man ZX

September 25, 2006 Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis
September 26, 2006 Bubble Bobble Revolution

Oh SHIT. Rocket and Contact are also no brainers, but I enjoyed the first MvDK, so the second one could be rad. Bubble Bobble is BUBBLE BOBBLE. Also Box art lollin. The others are more of a passing interest. To be rented at a later date.

Nintendo Gameboy Advance

EXCITING. A BIG PILE OF NO ONE CARES.

Sony PSP

September 5, 2006 LocoRoco
September 12, 2006 Bomberman

Everyone loves bomberman, and LR looks like a ton of fun. Besides, a PSP game once every couple months is much better than the 8 month draught the thing went through earlier this year.

XBOX 360

September 5, 2006 Xbox Live Arcade Unplugged Volume 1
September 12, 2006 LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy
September 12, 2006 NHL 07
September 12, 2006 NHL 2K7

Probably only gonna get the same Hockey game Ronz gets. Because that'd be GREAT. Also Lego Star Wars on this machine because lol achievements. Also an actual arcade disc would be way better than this download only stuff they have going on right about now.

Contact's been pushed back to October according to the official site. Probably so Atlus can print five copies instead of two.

I love these forums. Only place I get such a complete list of release dates.

GameStop has Contact listed for October 10. Ever since the official site showed up, I've been checking it rather religiously. I'm sad, but oh well.

I'm a little low on funds currently and have college coming around the corner, so I probably won't get a lot of games this month, despite the nice list. Really want to get Yakuza, Okami, and Cooking Mama, with Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime, Samurai Warriors 2 and Valkyrie Profile: Silmeria on the side. I'll probably end up only getting one PS2 game and Cooking Mama. Time to make a decision...

Damn, I just got Star Fox and Enchanted Arms yesterday. And I picked up Dead Rising about a week ago, with N3 like two days before. Still, I'm probably gonna get:

PSP:

September 5, 2006 Guilty Gear Judgment

I <3 Guilty Gear. Except for the fact that the PSP d-pad sucks hard nuts. And that this version is #Reload, supposedly.

DS:

September 12, 2006 Mega Man ZX
September 12, 2006 Cooking Mama
September 18, 2006 Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team
September 19, 2006 Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime

Want to play ZX, and try out Mystery Dungeon. Dungeon sounds pretty weird so, yeah. Anyone know if this is gonna be good? Not really sure about Cooking Mama. And I might just grab Rocket Slime for the hell of it.

And I would get Contact, but if it's being pushed to October, then that sucks.

GAMECUBE:

September 25, 2006 Baten Kaitos Origins

I'm already sure that this is a must-buy, seeing as I can't even find the first one anymore.

PS2:

September 19, 2006 Okami
September 19, 2006 King of Fighters 2006

Not really sure about KoF2k6, but I think my brother will get it nonetheless.

Edit: Oh shit, I didn't even realize that the XBLA disc was being released.

PS2

I'm interested in one of the NHL games, though I might not get one for a while . I've got NHL 06, which I think would satisfy my hockey gaming needs for a while. More likely, I'll just wait for the 2008 iteration.
September 12, 2006 NHL 07 Electronic Arts
September 12, 2006 NHL 2K7

I definitely have to grab one of the NBA games, and it'll probably be the PS2 version again for this year. (Next year I'll definitely have my 360/Wii combo.) I've always been a Live customer, but that's gone down the last few years, and NBA 2K6 was just awesome. The 2K series may be where it's at now.
September 25, 2006 NBA 2K7
September 25, 2006 NBA Live 07

Another maybe, as in maybe I should start DDR-ing again. Haven't DDR-ed for almost 2 years.
September 26, 2006 Dance Dance Revolution SuperNOVA

Nintendo DS
I go through DS games pretty quickly, so I've been getting them at an increasing rate lately.

Maybe... I'm somewhat interested.
September 11, 2006 Mario Hoops 3-on-3

I've only played the Harvest Moon game on N64. If this one's got good reviews, maybe I'll get it.
September 12, 2006 Harvest Moon DS

Lately, I've been doing surgery on the Metro. Soon, I'll be lawyer-ing. With this game, I'll be cooking. osnap.
September 12, 2006 Cooking Mama

I've been interested in this game for a while.
September 19, 2006 Contact

Another maybe. It looks fun. I'll see what people who've bought it think about it.
September 19, 2006 Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I'm getting VP2, Okami, Locoroco, Rule of Rose and Lego Star wars 2. Maybe not all at the same month, but these are defintly on my list.

Though I have to warn people getting Rule of Rose, the gameplay isn't the best, in fact its the worst part of the game, the best part is the story and concept. Head to the RoR topic at Sony Scape for more info.

PSM gave it a 9.5 and I do believe EGM reviewed it and gave it 2 9.0's and 1 9.5. As for the Japanese version Famitsu gave it a 39 out of 40! Unfortunatly it sold poorly in Japan, I'd suggest doing yourself and Capcom a favor by pre-ordering it like I did and if were really lucky we will see a sequel (or an improved Wii port!).

Anyhow beyond Okami VP, LocoRoco, Yakuza, and Megaman ZX look good this month

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Haha, yeah right. I read somewhere that in an interview, a person at Clover mentioned other consoles. Something like "we'd never consider making this game for a Nintendo console" was brought up in it. They were asked why, and apparently it was something to do with the amount of time it takes to something something with the materials they have.

The only things that even look remotely enticing are Okami and Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria.

I've been repeatedly playing the Okami demo and it's amazing. Everything is spot-on -- controls, music, art style...everything's perfect. This is gonna be a fantastic game.

And VP2? It's a sequel to a cult PS1 RPG that around a decade later received a PSP port. I pretty much adore Valkyrie Profile, so VP2 is a must-have regardless of what anyone says.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

gamingrankings (http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/920500.asp) has an average of 92%, pretty damn good, and most of the scores are hovering around 90 so there's no huge diviation of the scores - so that means something. Just damn, I swore I would hold back only getting 2 games during the 2 months, seeing as I still need to scourge up money for stupid textbooks this term as well. Ah hell, I AM GAMER. I still have a $17 balance on my gift card. OKAY!

Jam it back in, in the dark.
